  1. It actually serves a purpose and it is not hard to find a key. I for one am happy that it is enforced.
  2. Could not interact with radio to retrieve the codes. Fallujah - Operation Eagle Feather - cca 9:55 CEST(GMT+2) Radio table spawned on the ground, the transmitter itself was inside the building (colliding with it).
  3. Admins/Mods know about that option, but difficulty settings are currently bugged out. You cannot set high difficulty and keep 3rd person view until BI fixes it. Also to reply to Lad - when we are in small numbers we usually all agree to go Expert 1st person only, as otherwise it is too easy most of the time. We choose Regular, only when server starts filling, because Admins/Mods prefer 3rd person allowed on the server. Edit1: As Ryko corrected me, not BI, but creator of TADST.
  4. Thanks for the info. Didn't thought about that. By the way, checking end of array with "XX", while you have knowledge about length of array and current pointer number, is a bad practice. Also spotted some possibly obsolete (cannot find their actual use anywhere in code, but maybe I am just blind/misunderstood) minor things. Post Scriptum: Don't take me too seriously/get annoyed. I am perfectionist and fault-finder with too much free time, sorry for that. You are doing great job.
  5. The problem with that Airfield missions is that it gets old pretty quickly, even though it is fun mission. We get it almost each time we go Stratis. Few more suggestions: Ammo box in base: (mentioned before) *Change 200Rnd M855A1 for (Mixed) variation. *Add 6.5 and 5.56 CUP variation. *Move the box on Cherno closer to Arsenal. (new) *Change NLAW - currently it has preloaded Dummy Missile. Use both CUP and BI variation. *Add CUP AT4(M136) as well *I dont think the boxes need 200x each ammo type. 50x should be enough and it will make space for more different ATs (and possibly help server load times?). In general the number of stuff could be lowered, half of the time it is not used at all. And if it is, we use like 10% (except the missiles) of one box( and we have three boxes). I would be happy to get a chance to look at the code for mission selection (I am really curious how stuff like that works for ArmA so I can get into mission making with proper background knowledge).
  6. You can disable the ShackTac in ACE settings, so you will only have vanilla. Don't think there is option to disable vanilla except the (currently bugged) difficulty settings.
  7. Ryko, would it be possible to lower possibility for the Airfield mission on Stratis? Just had it 2 out of 4 missions (1st and 4th).

  13. As the update brought larger difficulty options, will there be custom preset? Now we could have 3rd person view enabled and still have AI with max. Skill (and Precision possibly). Also now it shows ingame one more Name+Role indicator, which I think is disable-able in the difficulty settings. So now when you hover aim over player you get his name in text 3x (and yes it annoys me a lot ).   16. Can you write what issues you experienced? I am kinda curious as many problems I experienced can be evaded or fixed. I know some people really spread the hate for ACRE, but for me ACRE works enough to actually give realistic effect (even the bugs are somewhat realistic ).
  17. Ahoy AhoyWorld, finally pushed myself to write introduction post. So here you go. Some minor info about me: I am from the Czech Republic (the country Bohemia Interactive is from and where real "Chernarus" is located); in middle of my undergraduate studies (Computer Science), currently taking a half-a-year break. I got to Ahoy community for ZEUS action on EU1/2, but got stuck on EU3. See you (again) on the battlefield.
  18. By the way, if anybody was wondering why BLUFOR did not win the second game. I could not get the chopper with the third (last) scientist to lift of, so I tried to move him into the boat and just transport him myself. But the boat I chose was in deep water so I started swimming and when I told the guy to get into the ship ACE bugged out on me. I tried to move myself to driver seat, hoping the guy will follow. Well, he didn't and he also could not swim, he just drowned. So, yeah, that happened. I hope Ryko will be able to find and fix all the bugs and balance the sides because it is very nice idea for TvT. Thank you for that and good luck. Medical traiting was okay. Sadly we were not able to finish it in time. Thank you.
  19. I don't think you will get many people to switch uniforms for you. To be honest I actually love how everyone can run his own style to some extend. You start to recognize people you play often with just by their gear.

  22. Mission sounds legit and fun as hell. But how exactly will kit restriction work? I get that you spawn in and go straight to save your gear to arsenal, but are any changes allowed? Minor stuff like +1/-1 mag/granade/rocket etc.? Major stuff like taking AT/AA launcher as rifleman (effectively changing to AT/AA rifleman role)? No changes allowed?
