    Can't play with mods on EU1

    I'm guessing yo are talking about this allowed mods page.

    Have you downloaded them using Arma3Sync or did you do it the hard and painful manual way?

    If you didn't do it using Arma3Sync I'd suggest you delete all your mods and follow this guide to install them using Arma3Sync, just keep in mind not to use the Modded, but the Official repository - unless you intend playing on the superior modded server anytime soon.

     

    If you encounter more problems, feel free to hop on the teamspeak - there should be plenty of people there - especially Field Ambassadors (green flag) - willing to help you find a solution.

    Just from what I can tell from playing yesterday;
    - Server is working fine, there doesn't seem to be any major lag or issues

    - FPS seems to have increased slightly for everybody; not sure how you accomplished this, but thanks anyways

    - AI is a lot harder to fight, which I like - BTRs will actually roll up on you and fire rounds behind you if you are behind cover so the blast will kill you etc.

     

    Only problem I'm encountering so far is that ambient AI makes it almost impossible to do the "destroy convoy" mission, as they just keep spawning within 20 meters around you from your ambush position or LZ // it seems to happen more in somewhat urban areas.

     

     

    Haven't had a chance to see the restarter in action yet.

     

    Anyhow; thanks for the effort. Hope to see you test out your good work for yourself sometime :-)

     

     

    EDIT: I've been trying to connect to the server for about 20 minutes now. It won't go past the map screen and seems to be stuck on creating, not sure if this was caused by the restarter, but it might be worth looking into.

    Is there any starting time/date for it? Apart from the gamenight of course.

    You can join EU3 any time you want, although gamenights are serious and depending on what the mission much more fun than the Gauntlet missions that run on EU3 daily (apart from gamenight).

    Signups are coming along fine almost full, who is infinity736277something who has signed up? Since he has no forum acc and i havent seen him around chances are he will be taken as a fake sign-up if none of the users know of him ?

    I have seen a player whose name was INFINITY<some numbers> not sure if it's the same person though.

    I'm sorry for what I did, but some people have to see that pilots are vital for fast troop transport and not some scratching post you can scratch your nails on if something doesn't  go to your liking so to speak.

    Hello,

     

    I would like to have your opinion about a very simple suggestion, reducing the plance service time now that the CAS spawn is 'taken' out of #EU1. I can see why the timer would be so long considering the impact a few GBU's can have on an AO, but seeing that no-one actually carries AA launchers anymore the service time for the friendly Buzzard should be reduced to like 3 minutes instead of 'about' 5.

    Just land 3km out of the AO and watch their feet bleed as they have to walk a personal record distance.
    I don't get why people scream etc. over Vehicle channel (VON).
    When they are too impatient for the pilot to look at his map and see any recent changes such as AA-movement and the compromisation of LZ's. The pilot can either choose to submit, ignore or rage.

    Submitting meaning landing in a either too hot, exposed or unreachable (AA before arrival).

    Ignoring meaning just fly where you wanna go yourself. In the end the soldiers on board are your responsibility and if anything happens you are to blame, so you do the right thing which is most of tge time against the likes of the passengers.

    Raging... we can all give examples and reasons why this would happen. I'll just give you a personal rage moment.

    "One, maybe two, weeka ago I was flying the Mohawk, a chopper I'm not too experienced with, but I can still manage to land etc. without killing others in the process. Well I was a little bit annoyed already as I waa on Ts3 with another person who was a transport pilot at that time and he got mad, because of the same people, before it happened to me. So what happened is me landing at base to pick-up people and [REDACTED] jumped in. Names if people who you may or may not have heard from before, let me tell you a little bit about their personality using a Pancake quote: " Scrubs with their thumbs up their asses". Especially [REDACTED] who doesn't respect anyone. He kept screaming that he had to go to some specific LZ, whilst continiously opening the Helicopter ramp and playing Justin Bieber's 'Baby' over vehicld channel. When I asked him to stop he just turned the music up whilst [REDACTED] started caps-typing about another LZ so they also started raging against eachother. I had a couple of agruments with [REDACTED] in-game and on ts3 before and for a guy who is a self proclaimed EOD expert in the US Army, he didn't seem really mature. So when they started bitching on the chopper and my actions to try and restore order didn't seem to pay off I threatened that I would land the chopper 5 clicks out of the AO and they could argue whilst walking there. He dared me to do it in such a way (disrespect and insults) that I just landed, got out and disconnected.
