  1. Goddammit! I overslept. Sorry, folks. :(

I can honestly say; you missed nothing. Gamenight was ended in the middle of the mission due to the chaos that was created after Christiansen's internet crash and bugs in the mission.

  2. The AiA part of my addon folder looks like this - I don't see anything that has to do with AiA_Buildings2 (screenshot 1)

Instead (somewhere further down the list) I found this:

Might be that the names are different or anything.

I'd say either delete and redownload AiA or wait for someone with more knowledge about the repository and it's files. (StuffedSheep or Josh etc.

    • - All pilots gets three weekly strikes, fuck up three times in a week and you're on the edge, fuck up four times and an admin/moderator gets to enforce reasonable punishment. Whitelist would be too much, but blacklist for a specific/permanent amount on time would be cool with me. It's even said on EU1; if you can't fly, please learn in single player.

    • Never use them, remove them or not; fine with me either way.

    • This is something I've thought about too. I see tanks / CAS "running" in on their own and completing the objective or not requesting to be designated a fire mission / target. Not even asking for permission to engage targets.

      - I'd say the three strike rule I suggested above would be fitting for the pilot side of this too.

      - Depending on what Torch/Hammer does wrong (ex. Solo'ing Objective or killing a GAZ is a big diffrence) I'd say rule enforcers get some freedom from warning, spawning an enemy tank platoon on their head or arty'ing / smite'ing them.

In my opinion if you aren't part of the plan CMD has made and you basically join the objecte in progress as Torch/Hammer/Talon you should not participate, unless you manage to discuss adjustments/the plan in person (direct speech) or command tells you to.

  3. Don't mind playing Panthera, I think it's a better map in comparison to the others due to all the diffrent sorts of terrain. Also before Panthera and Al'Rayak were introduced we played Fallujah (+rarely Chernarus) for about 2-4 weeks. Panthera has just been on for the 'primairy map' for a week or so, but I do agree that we could play less played maps like Al'Rayak and maybe Altis a bit more.

  4. As it took me about half an hour to figure out how to use the RPG-7, it's different ammo rounds and it's sight.

So basically, I'm gonna be walking through how to use this setup with it's different rockets:

    Ammo

    • PG-7VL  - HEAT warhead vs. most vehicles and fortified targets.
    • PG-7VR - HEAT warhead vs. most vehicles, modern (reactive) armor(ed) vehicles, works with two warheads one to trigger the armor and one to pass through the gap.
    • OG-7V   - Anti-personnell fragmentation warhead
    • TBG-7V  - Thermobaric warhead (utilized oxygen from surroundings); generates extreme heat and big ass blast wave.
Read below for more info on TBG-7V:

Their reliance on atmospheric oxygen makes them unsuitable for use underwater, at high altitude, and in adverse weather. They do, however, cause considerably more destruction when used inside confined environments such as tunnels, caves, and bunkers - partly due to the sustained blast wave, and partly by consuming the available oxygen inside those confined spaces.

    Now for the sight:

Every round gets propelled differently, to know which part of the sight you should look at. Look at what it says at the 'x' part of 7Vx whilst looking at the warhead's name.

    • PG-7VL  - Use the П zero'ing.
    • PG-7VR -  Use the P zero'ing.
    • OG-7V   - Use the M zero'ing.
    • TBG-7V  - Use the P zero'ing.

You can also use the sight to estimate range though not recommended:

In order to do so; align the 1,5 line with the bottom of what you are trying to measure and figure out around where it hits the curve.

    Example;
    Range is 300m-ish.

Reason why it's not very recommended and I'd prefer using a rangefinder etc. - object heights can differ depending on to what object you're measuring range to.
