More Weapon to the Arsenal

Why is there only few weapons in the arsenal in te EU#3 ?

For long range you only have choice between basic NATO game weapons and the AK's...

I think there's enough mods on EU3 ENHANCED to get along just fine.

Not to jump on the hate train but if the m4 variants doesn't do it for you in your standard rifleman slot then you don't get EU#3.

I can't see how this guy is actually talking about EU#3.

 

I'd say he's on about #1, talking about "M4 variants", meaning the HKs and MXs.

 

To answer that, those are the weapons that Vanilla Arma comes with. The reason a Rifleman can't run with an EMR-1 is, guess what, he's a Rifleman and as such should be using a Rifleman weapon with a Rifleman optic.

I'm the first to go on the the ground and to go on the first line, and I dont like to be on the top of a hill shooting ennemies at 1,5km like some players usually do.

But when you're with few people, that opfor is firing from long range because they have like 7,2mm bullets, and you have only a 5,6 weapon...

When you chose to be  just a basic soldat, YOU only have access to short range weapons..

And yes I find Vanilla weapon in this game ugly, it's kind of "futuristic weapon but not-to-much" and I don't like the design at all.

The Apex weapons are very nice.

And don't say that look is for noob because EVERYBODY likes to watch themselves in game, military stuff is nice to see.

Ah well. That's a problem with vanilla Arma, plus roles have restricted weapons. Not much we can do on that front as EU1 and 2 are to be fully unmodded (except for the allowed client-side mods).
