  1. easiest way to be top of your field is to choose a really specific field and all that.
  2. Big fan of cut grass! could we add a player check for sub-objective buildings at the end of an AO? they currently despawn almost immediately, meaning if you're say a sniper in the HQ tower on comms-hub, and the mission ends, you rather quickly fall to your death

I'm just online now playing the destroyer mission, and as well as grenades being lethal through walls (which I'm assuming is my fault for assuming they wouldn't be) the ai seem to be able to see straight through it, so they were constantly shooting, even if I was at the other end of the destroyer, and because of this, about half, if not more, of the ai were killed by each other's grenades, as they throw them into walls they don't see, but the grenades do. I guess this is an arma problem, but it may help to remove grenades from troops on the ship, or change how it's placed.

    Do you play DCS?

    Not got it myself, but open to giving it a try if we get a server, looks like a pretty steep learning curve.

As the M72 LAW is non-reloadable, could it be changed so it can be put in a backpack, so AT can carry more than 1 without a vehicle(and without stealing enemy AT), (this also means M72 HEAT is not needed in the arsenal, as it's useless. (or more AT added to the arsenal for AT, stuff you can carry multiple of :- )

  12. I didn't really want to comment here, as I didn't, and still don't, know exactly what happened. In fact, today was the first time I'd heard at all about all this, and in truth this thread, whilst being a good thing, has made me a little sad. It is a good thing to air grievances, but unfortunately bickering from either side is never productive, and it's sad to see it from some well known and well respected members of this group. I may be an Ahoyworld newbie, I've barely been here more than 6 months, and some of you have been moderating forums etc for longer than I've been alive, but I feel I have got to know many of you quite well since I've been here, and I've made some good friends, unfortunately some of whom I will almost definitely see less now this has happened. At it's base level, this is a community based on arma (and squad (-: ) primarily. None of us (at least I hope) are here for the politics, and if you are, you're in the wrong place in my eyes. We're here to play arma, with, in my (possibly a little biased) opinion some of the best public servers around, some fabulous scheduled ops, and the best and friendliest online community I've been a part of. I hope I still see many of you on EU1&2, or playing along with AWE and ops, even if you take a less involved role or stop interacting with the social side of the community altogether, but overall I hope no one truly falls out. There's a good number of friends here for a reason, but if you do leave, I hope you find another group that's as friendly and accommodating as all of you have been to me, and hopefully we'll bump into each other again in the future. As I said, I don't know enough about this to make a decision, so I'm keeping a neutral view. If anyone wants to rant, complain, or just chat about this or anything else, feel free to PM me.

  14. 1) I brought it up in the other thread, but I'll put it here too: 2) The Pawnee little bird at guardian can spawn with an AA ASRAAM, which It can't use, as it has no Radar. Could this be removed, as it's pretty useless.
  15. As we've added the Taru pod functionality, could the Taru(Bench) be removed from the rewards pool for side missions? It gets used little enough as it is, and it's made even less useful by the Guardian Taru, when we get it

Could we add a max distance from nearest base/FOB modifier for side missions, EU2 usually has less people online than EU1, so it's less likely there'll be a pilot online, and due to the size of the map side objs can be a long way away(17 km cough, cough), taking a while to get to, only for the mission to fail soon after you get there
  18. I'm enjoying I&A Nam, Just a couple of things I've noticed: Lots of AI spawning in individual watch towers. AI spawning under objects, I've noticed specifically under trench lines and rocks, I think as they're standing objects, not just on the ground the screenshots are from the marked locations, which is where I've noticed them while playing There's also the issue with planes not being able to lock other aircraft, which applies on EU1 as well, I think it may be to do with being spawned by the rewards spawn menu, but I'm not sure. (also rewards menu spawned aircraft losing their pylons on occasion, but I've only seen that on EU1, when I tried to reward spawn a Wipeout as a reward)
