I agree with you on that Colsta and i honostly don't see the point of some sort of badges implemented but i like the idea that by some changes made (badges, authorization,...) only pilots who have at least some basics can fly heli's on the EU1/2 servers. Nothing more annoying then firststarters taking the vortex slots and constantly crashing (full) helicopters because they didnt even take the basic training... What is your opinion? And can it be done aswell? If there is nothing to do about this i think we shouldnt be needing this discussion/topic to be continued grts Lex

Now i'm gonna have to follow the rest of the guys on this one but i still think this is a pretty good idea. I see some pilots entering the server who are literally taking their first flying lessons. Perhaps only mark those who have actually run trough the basic training of Arma? If that is a possibility?

Thats exactly what i don't get in the first place. Gamers without a mic/headset? o_O especially for a game like ArmA Not a problem on EU3 but on EU1/2 people really expect for other players to be constantly reading all the chat when they are asking for anything and then get upset when you missed it cause your focussed on other things. Also, Potato squad is a good idea to make the public servers more fun to play on you just got to spread the the word for all people who don't like the lonewolf style. Grts Lex

Pilots should be on TS for better use but i still find that there is not much activity on TS by any of all classes. would be kinda hard with 20+ members in each channel of EU1/2 when everyone would be constantly talking over eachother. I think the group management system implemented in the game is a better way for more coordinated communication when playing with a smaller squad Come and join EU3 sometimes, i am sure you'll love it

I think this is a great inintiative! i once did this when i was in a clan the time i used to play Americas Army and it wasnt awkward at all, very fun to paintball without any screen in between and it really improved the quality of communications, friendship and gameplay! I can't tell for sure if i'm going to make it since i probably have a visit from my 3year old sun then but maybe i can arrange to attend at least one day. I live in belgium so its not that far to drive for one day @ David, Great job! i hope many people will attend.

Okay so i could use some help. I downloaded LCAC Mod but i really don't know what to do next :/ i copied the file to my steamapps arma folder but i allways open arma through armasync to play on EU3 and i can't find the mod in my modlist in armasync... Also i would like to sign up to test it out but what is the time when the test starts (CET)? Also, since i'm not a pro on EU3, am i of any good use then? grts lex

Yesterday for some reason around the evening me and a few other players on EU3 suffered problems with TS or ACRE. I don't know if the problem has been resolved but in case not and people are still suffering perhaps someone who knows what to do about it could post a solution in this topic Thx in advance! Lex

Maybe we could make a poll for this situation? Truth is, yes it's hard during weekdays when there are less (competent) players/pilots on the servers. Like Scar said, it really shouldnt be a problem. You could consider inviting a few engaged people into a small squad to go and finish the mission by prioritizing your roles per member of your squad and make sure you take down the RT first. If you give yourself a little time and start asking some people there are allways players who gonna want to tag along but don't have the guts to ask others themselves, let alone to teamlead. There are lots of different options to finish an AO that is 'full' of CAS and communication is the key! Yes, that way the enemy can't ask for any airsupport anymore so pack 2 charges and a mine detector (other ways to do it 2 ) and blow that shit up! Good luck!
