Just to add my two cents:
We did have a scorcher in however like cas, when the player takes a supporting role into his own hands it sometimes ends in bad results, like a mother force feeding you that oh so delicious cake until you hate it.
 
We even tried to keep mortars in but that didn't work either.
 
I do however on occasion grant the use of artillery vehicles to players who have displayed patience and the right attitude

And also thanks for the wonderful gamemode and server. If you guys go down or I get banned it's probably the end of ArmA 3 for me! I simply cannot play on other servers any more. So keep up the good work.. and raz, try to watch your fire. Not a day goes by without you teamkilling some poor souls!

Rollatorn, it appears you are appealing in the wrong place.  I have searched out database and we don't have any players banned with the name Karlsoon and we have never had an admin called Whisky GER.

Im impressed what modders can make, this is a LCS ship with functioning guns and its drivable etc. the only limitation is that the ship has to be "parked" to be able to walk on the decks.
 
Could be interesting to use as firesupport in a mission..

With the introduction of Zeus some confusion has arisen so ill attempt to answer some frequently asked questions.
 
1. Who can be zeus?
Any admin can be zeus at any time. so when you're asking "hey zeus, it would be cool if we had a side mission" you should really ask "hey Zissou, d'ya think we could run an extra side mission if you have time please?" p.s. there can be more than one
 
2. Can we ask zeus to do stuff for us
Yes and no! to refer back to my original point, you would be asking an ADMIN who has a name. there are rare cases in which requests are acceptable (like ARMA bugs, we all know arma likes a good random explosion from time to time). But most of the time:
Asking an admin to do things for you generally will result in a no, we can't spoon feed you. You'll get used to it like a fattened child begging his mother for more cream eggs!
 
3. So what can admins do?
A number of things, from making main objectives more interesting, to creating their own missions, to taking over bodies and cars of enemies. providing artillery support, ammunition, decoration, nearly anything.
 
4. "somebody is zeus, hey raz are you spawning stuff around me?"
It doesn't matter if an admin is or isn't in zeus mode, your task is the objective regardless of whether it's an admin in another body or not. It doesn't matter if enemies bring in reinforcements, enjoy the dynamics! stop asking and start playing. Also our admins are not stupid, they have been meticulously hand picked so they won't be spawning stuff in front of your eyes, more like around corners or far away.
 
5. Hey you struck me down with lightning! all i was doing was running friendlies over/shooting my tank cannon at base/ trolling.
You're breaking server rules, before zeus you would have been simply kicked from the game. depending on severity perhaps even banned (after fair warning of course) Being struck with lightning is far less serious!
 
6. You mentioned that you wouldn't use Zeus with I&A in the past, why the change of heart?
I've got an open mind to suggestions but i always carry my own opinion through very strongly, a personal fault perhaps. We carried out a little trial of Zeus and it really caught on. Players and admins enjoying the new experiences this tool can create. Sure the performance isn't nearly as good as when a Zeus mission is running on it's own but it still adds a valuable experience according to our test

What's up again...too many posts in one day, I must sound a bloody creep right?

Well back to the matter at hand.

A few weeks back I've invited you chaps from AW to play with us folks from JTF2 in a fun PVP game, hardcore style. However I forgot to inform the day when it was going to happen. NOT AGAIN! This time I'm reinviting to do the same thing, this time on MAY 10TH, 2:00PM EST, so that mean round 6:00 or 8:00 PM to english and euro chaps. The mods will be the same before (Task Force Radio and CBA required, VTS, Blastcore, JSRS 2.1 supported), and no need to confirm here, just show up in time and it's all good. And all members of the community that want to play dynamic missions pvp on hardcore mode are invited too, even if you're not from the AW clan, but follows them and play without a problem on their server.

Anything hit me up here on Teamspeak from time to time, I'm there most nights.

Evenin' all, some of you may remember my antics from the 2nd server during Raz's time as Zeus.
To prove my worth, I ran around as a member of the press armed with only a PDW with 4 mags, and I created this special little song to keep our soldiers going.

I've not been on ArmA 3 a whole lot recently but trying to get on it as much as possible these days but yea was on one of your servers last night and was made very welcome and enjoyed it so thought i would come on and say hi because i will most likely be on your servers a lot from now on.
 
Anyway to introduce myself. My ingame name is "turbomunch" haha and my real name is Andrew and im 22 years old. I'm currently a challenger 2 MBT driver for the british army! a great but often challenging job hahaha so yea you will see me rolling about in a tank a lot on ArmA 3! I'm from the UK obviously not from anywhere in particular due to being from a RAF family however i am based in Wiltshire. Not much else to say really. I look forward to getting to know you and if you have any questions just fire away!

Zeus will be hosted when there are hosts suitable to do so.
I&A will be used when there are no hosts
 
I&A Zeus would be nearly pointless, it runs its self so Zeus could really only create side missions
 
 
There is however a definite guideline i would like to run over with the zeus hosting admins before opening it up to public event hosts.

As some of you may know, we here at Ahoy have been efforting putting together a Flight test that'll give you guys a chance to earn those wings and the status of accredited Pilot.
What is the significance of the ACCREDITED PILOT stamp you'll earn? Well, at the moment, nothing more than bragging rights, as well as a nifty little pin in the TS channels you'll get, that hopefully will fill future passengers of yours with the utmost of confidence that you'll deliver them safely, and in one piece, to their deadly, deadly LZ's.
In the future, however, we may consider this test as part of the admission process to Ahoy's Flight Club.*
So, this is the place to sign up for testing, as well as discussing any questions or comments you might have about the flight test, and putting forward any ideas you might have for an eventual flight club.
Lastly, I want to make sure everyone understands that this is not meant to lead to any exclusionary or unfair practices. Accredited Pilots will not by default have any special rights or privileges in our public servers. I think everyone can agree that one of the hallmarks of our community is the presence of an equal playing field, and we do not aim to disturb that.
