Do we have a possible date as to when the first mission will start?

Josh is right, many of the problems are due to an unwillingness for people to come on TS and actually poke us with a problem they'd like us to sort out. They tend to whine about it in chat, but don't do much else when it's pretty easy to fix.

I believe that our current management will not see any sort of 'reserved' slots in I&A, for reliable pilots, ahoy+ subscribers or otherwise.

I want to say that the mist/increased precipitation in the air during the winter months has something to do with it but i honestly don't know.

I'm not looking for a racing sim at all, but I really didn't like GRID 2's super arcadey-feel, especially with those weird drift-type races and the like. From that video, it does look like the new GRID is much less arcadey, but definitely not a race-sim, which sounds pretty great. Definitely liking the cockpit view too, and more proper motorsport!

Already pledged for my freelancer. May well get a hornet or a 325a for the more dogfight-y stuff. Got both alpha and beta, along with a few cool physical items like a collector's box that i'm assuming will ship once the full game releases, got my business hangar too. I don't know if I'd be able to join an AW group, I already pretty much promised to join a group of friends I made on EVE, so there's that. Lookin' forward to the dogfighting module though, especially after seeing the PAX footage.

Formatting's a bit weird there, smith. Looks like a nice build, though personally i would have a larger HDD and a full tower for that extra space. Not to mention two sticks of eight. Helps with future upgrades.

That simply isn't true, whilst I can't quite remember what we've set the timespeed at, the day and night cycles should be exactly or very close to the same. The majority of the time the server is in daytime because many people like yourself dislike playing at night, so we usually restart the servers at 0500 to give the maximum amount of daylight before it goes into night. As such we're almost certainly sticking with the current system, because previously we felt that having it almost perpetually daytime (with the normal time speed) just made the game seem monotonous and boring. Introducing the night aspect leads into some interesting developments. If you don't like fighting in the dark, bring a 3GL and Flares. You'd be surprised how much they light up a battlefield at night.

I still refuse to see how Xeno is getting so upset about people using his squad management system. It's not like we've blatantly taken his script and passed it off as our own, it's a good script and as such we'd like to use it. Being butthurt and trying to get everyone who uses it (who may or may not have accredited him) to take it down immediately just defeats the purpose. Is it because he wants to gain proper recognition for his scripting? How does taking down all versions of his script from servers help with that? It just makes him infamous as someone who's gotten really butthurt over some people not putting his name in and crediting him for it. Like, really. Punishing those who haven't done anything wrong because of a minority who have broken the rules doesn't do anyone any favours.

Pretty accurate and akin to blowing up radiotowers/side mission objectives in Arma, especially when you have several people planting charges and not saying so. Ka-boom!
