RehabitedHamster
Ahoy! A month ago when I played on EU2. I've experienced that the Defend AO's was active. Tho there of course were some things that could be better. It was super fun and different.! So my question is: Why is the defend AO always disabled? Is it still under "Construction" ? xSniper1982
it certainly did add a little something extra. Was good to mix the gameplay up a little.
RehabitedHamster
it certainly did add a little something extra. Was good to mix the gameplay up a little. YES! It was amazing to see how people suddenly switched mindset for the gameplay, and was actually thinking more tactical about their loadouts. In total I think the Idea was a huge succes.! Gripe
Yeah, the only tweak i'd make would be to maybe know beforehand that this particular AO will have to be defended once taken. A lot of people were instagibbed by spawning AI because they weren't expecting it at all.
slick
lol that made it fun tho ...all clear ...then 2 t -100 appear next to ya
RehabitedHamster
I would still agree that people should know when they have to defend. So some people dont get pissed of about T-100s spawning in their face.
Munic
It does make a lot of fun. Should be more often.
Chuck
Sure it does sound good but in practise i dont think it will work. The waypoint system is arma is terrible. Those of you who have used zeus know when u tell something to move and it either doesn't move or goes the other way. This is why most spartans and admins don't make defend missions. Im sure there are ways around this though. Sent from my Microwave using a phone app that is really irritating because it constantly advertises itself. RehabitedHamster
Well that is a fair post Chuck! I was just curious about it, cause we had a lot of fun. But I do see your point about the ZEUS. its a pain.

Someone
I would say that it worked rather well the way it was implemented. The amount of shouldered AA may have been somewhat high and the fact that most AI spawned in a very small area was annoying, but other than that it worked really well. I liked how it changed the gameplay, how it forced you to be on your toes at the end of the mission But yeah, patience is key
