lol, 23 views and no answer why this error pops?

So I basically attempted to open this dpbo'd file in the editor and this came up immediately. I attempted to run the pbo file on my dedi server and it crashed. So is this intentional to prevent unauthorized use?

To the best of my knowledge we don't do anything intentionally to stop you from de-pboing the mission file.  That being said I've just tried it myself and am also getting an error (a different one though).  I can't give you a copy though as I only have an as of yet unreleased version of I&A, I don't have access to the 3.4.22 version (and I'm not hand out a version we haven't released yet for someone else to run :D)

Mission is packed with MakePBO and some files are compressed. Tools like PBO Manager just splits the PBO open, not decompressing files.

Get Mikero Tools from here -> https://mikero.bytex.digital/Downloads

ok i will try another dpbo program. never had any issues before with pbo manager. will report back

edit.1 - attempted to use both dpbo and make pbo both are bugged and do not work or load correctly. likely poor link. do you have one in particular you use?

Unpacked from current released version ....

InA_3.4.22.Altis.zip 3.29 MB · 0 downloads

i dont need it unpacked. but thanks nonetheless. I have errors when trying to open in up in editor and play on my server. if you scroll up you can see both my pictures showing the errors when just trying to open the mission in the editor. never had an issue with dpbo before this. not sure why it wont let me open the mission in the editor.

see below, the error with your copy.

Yeah, something fishy is going on with Arma.

- The unpacked 3.4.22 can't be loaded (getting the same error).

- Grabbed old version of the file from GitLab (from back in Feb), same error.

- The branch I'm currently working on works fine, but it's not ready.

- Hosting a session with Invade_&_Annex_3.4.22.Altis.pbo works fine.

- Dedicated server loads and runs it fine.

I think there's been 3DEN updates in the past 5 months so it throws a fit parsing it. Can't really help you any more than that I'm afraid, it's sort of out of our hands ....
