Hey all, tonight and tomorrow night i am going to be streaming FOB Missions In the EU #1 server, tonight im going to get a late start... around 930 EST but tomorrow i could start around 7-8 EST. If you guys would like to tag along in these missions then feel free, it is open to everyone, if you cant tag along but would like watch then please do.

I think during the Day, and EU prime time we have plenty of admins, right now our hardest time is when more of the US players start getting on and EU players start getting off, including our staff, so then sometimes the server is left unattended because there arent any staff on. So right now we are trying to keep an eye out for players that are in or around the US timezone. Everyone has lives, so it isnt expected that you be on 24/7 and monitor the servers, i think the biggest thing with being apart of the staff is following the rules and setting an example to the other players, and another thing is being approachable, dont get pissed off with a player because they interrupted your game Either Arma 3 or another game, yes you would like to play but you might be the only staff online at the moment, and being apart of the staff sometimes you gotta give up the game for 5-10 minutes at a time to handle a situation. But you just gotta prove yourself, be active on the forums and ingame and eventually you will be asked to be apart of the Field Ambassador and then from there you can work your way up the ranks.

Mustache the other people might be playing in other games while in channel but they don't interrupt the gameplay because u are interrupting the come to talk to people you p!may with when instead you could have made your own channel. And on top of that your blatent disrespect to the staff. If you have a problem with the way a staff member is handling something ask to be taken into another channel and talk it out, or disconnect and cool off. Don't backmouth the staff. You should be thankful because you have not been permanently banned even though you were warned you would be. I hope to see you ingame come back when you are ready

I Heard that the arma update broke it, so the keys were removed till it got fixed.

I am in the US EST timezone, and will try to be on whenever i can playing, and keeping an eye out now that i got my computer up and running. If you see me in teamspeak or have any questions and im in a locked channel shoot me a poke. If i remember correctly, yes we do ban UID'S but if required we could do an IP Ban and that would stop a player from joining the server unless they get a new internet service. Im actually curious though i dont think when we ban a UID they can create another profile... i think the UID is for any profile's on the particular game.

When i try to download the mod i get the following error. I currently do not have a firewall/antivirus enabled.

I would never play dayZ... I played it once and it doesnt appeal to me, and because my frustration twords the game is too high. And from what i hear 85% of people dont have teams to play with you where lucky to find ppl you could play with and not rip you off. All im trying to say is i wish there was more of the old arma in the new arma and forget DayZ and bring back the times when an entire public server would work together to complete 1 goal. And before DayZ there wasnt as many Trolls/teamkillers in arma, when i played arma 1 i think i seen a player get banned maybe twice for hacking, and when i ran my own arma 2 server it was the same, i miss those days.

I actually like the idea, im a firm believer that the best COD game was COD 2, you didnt have perks, you didn't have level's it was just a raw skill but yet VERY fun game. And on top of that you could also heavily mod the game and that was a plus and helped keep things fresh. And cod 4 was okay, but it seemed like after that then it seemed like there was a release every year, and all they did was add new weapons and game types. When it comes to the engine and graphics there isnt any significant change compared to COD 4, and if you look at other prequel's to games it seemed like more time and effort to make it different/fun was put into it then in cod 2. But i do think a well built and genuine WW2 FPS would be nice for a change.

I've noticed with a lot of the servers i have seen in the server list and youtube video's that it seems like there isnt any genuine arma game types anymore. IDK if anyone remembers Evolution blue from Armed assault, and just general domination in Arma 2 OA. Now there are some communities out there that still play the combat aspect of the game (Like Ahoy World) but it seems that 80% of the community are into wasteland/zombies/life servers, personally i HATE HATE HATE!!!!!!! dayZ because of what it did to arma in my eyes. And wasteland you just cant really get the teamwork aspect into the game that you could get from the game modes in Arma 1 and Arma 2. The life servers in arma 1 where probably the best then there wasn't 10 different communities there was just 2 it was Sahrani life and City Life and the RP And amount of fun you could have in those you just cannot find in the life servers anymore. Anyone else agree/disagree? Share your thoughts im curious.

One thing i was kinda disapointed in once the full release came out was the lack of content... But now BIS seems to be really getting developing the game as it grows, and i just cannot wait till this release comes out... And hopefully will have my computer up and running by then.

Well ill give it to you guys, you certainly go all out! haha. I havent done a whole lot of airsoft because it isnt very popular up where im about but it looks like a lot of fun. I do some paintball every once and a while but its an expensive sport so i only go to like 2/3 big games a year. It would feel like with airsoft you wouldnt get the adrenaline rush or fear of getting hit as much as you would with paintball. Haha.

Quick update, because of weather my parts where delayed and im just now got back from sending my computer to the shop to get it put together, they say it should be done by WED, so hopefully thur ill have everything installed.

Well, i just put in my order for all the parts, From newegg and amazon, parts should get here Monday/tuesday. And hopefully should be built by the end of the week.

Do some research, there are tutorials all over the arma community.

I dont really need an SSD, and because the seagate is built for enterprise use, it will last much longer and hold up better.

Hey everyone, i just wanted to stop by and say hello. Its been a long time since i have been in game and missed playing arma A LOT!!!! For those of you who do not know me, i started playing with AW around Arma 3 Bata and the Initial full release of arma, but because my computer was too old i could not play the game. So i ended up playing some other games such as Eve Online, Space Engineer's Far cry etc etc. But i have some good news, because i have been working so much i have a realitivly nice tax return so i plan on upgrading my computer within the next month. Ill be getting a brand new Motherboard, CPU, GPU, and ram, and a new 1 TB hard drive. So i hope the community is going strong and still has room for me. I will hopefully be able to start playing by the end of February at the latest. I REALLY look forward to meeting all of the new community member's/staff, and will be lurking around the forums to introduce myself and get back in the swing of things. My new Hardware.
