The ingame VON would lag waaay to much i would think. So maybe giving TFAR a shot would be a good idea.

Spearhead if you want to help the community and become a admin become more active on our forums in teamspeak and ingame. Obey the rules and report any players misbehaving. And after a while you can start working your way up the ranks.

They already have a mission idea and its in Development. There are only two mods... ACE And ACRE

That is all in theory, i think it would be a nice idea to test it for a couple weeks and see how it goes.

I have played in a lot of servers in arma 2 with acre and a loose gameplay structure is possible. The only structure you will need are the radio's for the pilots and the guys on the ground to communicate. I think that the EU 3 players are kind of bias to this idea to be completely honest. And the other topic got a little too cluttered with arguments so lets try to avoid that this time.

Arkod there have been plenty of people that try EU 3 and find out they dont like it. Creating another server wont divide the community, did the creation of EU 3 divide the community. It did not it built it up, i believe the same for this new server. Arkod you have stated your opinion now please drop it and let others speak. As i said in my post i dont understand why its only the EU 3 frequent players that dont want this to happen. This server will have no effect on EU 3. And no this is not going to be EU 3 without the map packs. Its going to be a more free type of gameplay. a lot like EU 1/2 none of the strict MilSim like rules that EU 3 has. It will be treated like a Public server except with the only requirement is being on teamspeak.

So from the information i have gotten/read here are my thoughts. Player's in EU 3 need to chill out, This post was made for the players of EU #1 and #2 to see if they would like to try somthing new and fresh, and will not effect EU 3 at all what so ever so i dont understand why you guys are here disagreeing with the idea? The reason people want a light modded server is so they can have a different I&A gaming experience without the lag or having to download so many mod's. There is a server that is available and is not being used so it would not hurt to try it out and see how the community reacts. EU 3 is nice but its a little too much for some people and the level of gameplay just is not really what some are looking for. The Answer to Zissou's Questions Which Mods: ACE/ACRE Who decides which mod's to use: Mission Developer/Community (Limit 2GB) Who is going to Build it: (Needs to be Decided) Who is going to maintain it: I am willing to maintain the server. Until we figure out who can make the mission Kieran Collier has volunteered to make a basic mission file with the mods included and the mission's can be made via Zeus. I have a few more thoughts, but i cant keep my eye's open lol.

I think the marksman and Recon team should be allowed to use NVG And Thermal's.

Last week we used the whisper system, channel commander can work 2

And My personal opinion from the flying ive done since Arma 1 is never use Autohover.... ever like never ever ever.lol And when you do hit the ground on a damaged helicopter the first thing you should do is get out of the helicopter and run to cover, find out what is going on and let the troops you dropped off secure the area... Then you can repair your chopper. Your the pilot so even if the chopper gets repaired and you died it cant move, so focus first on keeping yourself alive.

Yeah, usually leutin does his missions around 6pm and its really late for you guys so i tried to do it a little earlier. I cant really go much earlier then thatt because i will most likely be working in the morning until 2-3

Hahahaha. I'll try not to. But sometimes it gets requested quite a bit Sent from my IdeaTab S6000-F using a phone app that is really irritating because it constantly advertises itself.

It was at THIS moment, that Hamster realized that though he did park the helicopter like a boss..... he fu**** up Hahahaha.

Some people who join our public server they would communicate, but there is so much crap going on in side chat most of the time that whatever is typed is ignored, which i agree is a shame... BUT we do have a team speak that people join to be able to communicate more effectively.
