I think is a really good idea, but probably won't work for public play. However it could work really well on the acre server

Those F15 shots are from a documentary about Red Flag, has a few good shots and a load of cheesy crap that kind of ruins it.

I think its a great update to Rome 1, I love it.

I loved Medival 2, played 600 hours of the campaign, but I already think Rome 2 is a huge improvement.

TrackIR is the most important thing you can get, a joystick and other things are really personal preference. There are awesome pilots who use don't use a joystick (Dyslexci, for example, swears by mouse, keyboard and pedals). I personally prefer using a joystick, mine is a CH Products Flightstick Pro, very unflashy and looks basic but has by far the best movement I've ever felt on a joystick. Plus its built like a tank. If you want to buy something to help with flying, I would strongly recommend picking up a TrackIR. You can get a $20 discount over at the shack tactical website.

Its an innovative idea, I'd be interested to see how precise you could be with it. I don't know if it would suit the hardcore simulator type, but something like GTA or even driving in ArmA could work really well on it.

Could be a fun idea, I enjoyed the payday sessions recently. Maybe highlighting cheaper games might help, not everyone can afford a big title game that often

As Ross said the best way forward is just to play, hop on TS and somebody will be able to give you some directions as to what to do if you are a little stuck.
