I think it might be possible with BEC, but i never looked into it for the reasons Bacon mentions above, and for the fact i dont like automatic restarts: Kinda rude when your just in the middle of some good gameplay clearing a AO you have been working on for hours, and than just before you can finalize: BOOOM server restart

  8. Just leave a post in the application thread with your details, mention the fact you might be new on the forums, but are a known player on the servers. The rules are like a guideline, and for those that are actually known players we will still add you to the squad regardless of the "rules". The requirement in this case is that we recognize your playername and at least one admin can confirm this. I amended the first post, with this information.

Membership of one of these squads will provide you with a logo and member identity in-game. Where is it ? You can find it here: https://tags.ahoyworld.net/ How do i obtain membership ? We have created a forum topic where you can sign-up for the squad of your liking. What squads are there, and can i apply for just any of the squads ? There are several squads available (and a couple more coming soon) Generic AW squads: Ahoy Staff - Obviously for staff only Ahoy Members - Open for public sign-up Donators - Applied to via "register donation" on the donate tab Ahoy Ambassadors - A invite-only squad (this includes the Spartan members) Ahoy Moderators - Obviously for AWE moderator only Game-night and special purpose squads: Team Wolfpack - Another game-night squad, open for public sign-up Staff personal squads: All staff have the privilege to their own personal squads, and staff might, or might not, invite other people in here What are the sign-up requirements (guideline) ? Ahoy Members: - At least 1 months forum membership - At least 5 constructive posts (yes we will check) - No warnings or kicks within the last 3 months - No bans in the last 6 months -Trustworthy in representing the Ahoyworld name and logo also on other servers Game-night squads: - Has participated in recent game-nights - At least 3 months forum membership - At least 5 constructive posts (yes we will check) - Trustworthy in representing the Ahoyworld name and logo also on other servers - Never been banned from our servers before (regardless if we unbanned you later) I am a known player on the servers, but only registered on the forums recently: Above requirements are a rough guideline to insure we only get longstanding active members to use this service. We know that we have some real solid players that are not active on the forums, but still want those players to be able to participate in this. Go ahead and sign up now, and apply for squad membership anyway. If the staff knows you from in-game we will have no problem adding you to the squad even though you only recently signed up. Using multiple squad's: It is possible to have membership of several squads and change them in your profile before logging into the server. This might or might not cause some conflicts locally. We technically made all efforts to prevent such conflicts, but we still recommend to stick to the same squad over longer periods of time instead of switching every other day. How to apply the squad tags in-game: - Go to our squad.xml server: https://tags.ahoyworld.net/ - Copy the squad.xml url for the squad you are member of - Past it into your arma profile - Log-on our server and the logo should be visible on your uniform and or the side of the vehicle you are driving. RULES !! Carrying our logo, name & tag makes you a representative of our community as a whole. We like to think of ourselves as a friendly and trustworthy community and would like to keep it that way. We do take great pride in keeping up the longstanding Arma community friendliness and netiquette as has been the case since 2001. If you cannot live up to this, we will have to remove you from the squad.xml, this might happen without further warning, and in some cases even result of being banned for all our services including the forum. Offences that will result in retracting your squad.xml membership: - Any other community or group reports you as misbehaving on their server or forum while carrying our tags (regardless if it's proven or not) - Misbehaving on our own server resulting in a ban by one of the admins, will get you removed from the server - Any other offence against our rules that will force us to assume you are not fit to represent us publicly The staff-team reserves the right to reject any membership application for the squad.xml for any or no reason as we deem fit. In the end we want to have full control who can or cannot represent our community.

  14. The REPO has been migrated to a brand-new (and way more powerful) server. There is no action or configuration required from your end, and the service should be resumed even without any downtime. You wont notice a thing (i hope). If however you experience any connection problems you can force you computer to connect to the new server: start --> CMD --> ipconfig /flushdns (with pictures) Old server: http://aardvark.kamaradski.com New server: http://rockhopper.kamaradski.com Technical talk: I have just switched the DNS 'A record' to the new IP, while keeping the old server online until the DNS is properly replicated in the DNS hierarchy. This should insure smooth migration without interruption. Write me a PM on the site, or talk to some admin on teamspeak in case you experience any problems in regards to this migration.

Before commiting yourself consider it's not only the modeling: This vehicle also would require a lot of changes to the default physics definitions file, and some custom sounds if you want to make it look right. Cannot have one of those with the default ifrit sound for example, that would look just silly. As far as the modeling itself goes, i think you can just do it in blender or 3ds and export it to something arma can read. (not 100% sure though as i never really looked into it too deep.)

  18. I just released Version: 1.01.00. As you can see the version number was bumped quite a bit, as I consider this to be a "Milestone version" release: This release is all about the weapons distribution that has been buggy since the release of T&A. The problem here was the way how VAS was essentially working, and therefore it was not able to fix this without running 2 different VAS systems parallel. This however would be laggy and very heavy on resources in general. So i solution was found in using the native Arma 3 Virtual Arsenal system instead. Nothing too fancy in coding perspective, but quite the improvement in game/play for this mission. Also the script for distributing the restricted special weapon ammo and UAV was overhauled and simplified in this release. I'm looking forward to the feedback of the community on these improvements. T&A is now getting closer to contain all the basic features as planned from the start. Once we reach that point I will be releasing it as Version 2.0 Major release version. After that we will enter the development phase where I will implement feature requests from the feedback i received, and do all the fine-tweaking and balancing Thanks all for the support so far, and all constructive feedback via PM and on TS !!
  19. Nope, for now this would be for the respawn only (after you bleed-out of give up waiting). IF what I have in mind works, I will have a look into how the revive system works, and see if the same can be implemented there. One of the challenges is that I might not be able to use 2 different settings, but this is a problem for later.

  23. I have released Version "1.00.72" & "1.00.74-Hotfix" yesterday night. This version is basically a clean-up and partial re-structure of how some things work. Some of the code should now run more efficiently. This release also introduces the gear restriction and crew restriction. So from now onward only the engineer and the pilot can fly, and sniper rifles are for snipers only.
