Liftable Slammer (and others)

An idea I had, although unrealistic, is for the Slammer and other tanks or BTRs to be liftable from a Huron or Mohawk. It would make it a lot easier for tank crews to get involved in the AO battles, as I have given up on it a lot in the past after driving for 10 minutes to just find out the AO moved to the other side of the map. Also, it would make for fun kinda escorts in AO.

 

Please, do add on and criticize the idea in the replies.

Also All armor are for support only and what happens mostly is that there will be a single person in the tank which is raping everything and making the AO's boring for the infantary

Although, most of this is something I have yet to experience, I agree. If this does happend, the liftable tank would make it easy to abuse and mabye even make the entire gameplay too easy and boring.

Been there, done that, killed a mohawk filled with people when my marshal glitched through it.

As useful as it is it minimizes the negative side of heavy armour, which is its response time to new objectives. If people really wanted armour moving in at the same time as the infantry they could either hold at a staging ground or move in a convoy with it. Of course, on EU1/2 the average pubby is too impatient for that, he needs his spunkgargleweewee fix of shoot the bad guys from 500 meters away on a hill outside the ao.

This idea would be awesome for more mature and tactical server (something like EU#3 is), but not for kid-filled EU#1.

 

P.S.: By saying kid-filled, I do not mean to criticize EU#1, I love it, but... Let's just be honest.

I don't think its realistic to be lifting a slammer, but what I do think is realistic is a low loader truck, I was on another server and actually seen a low loader cabin, I didn't see the trailer, I am not sure if its possible to do this, have a low loader truck and trailer to transport slammers and technicals to AO, would be pretty cool if you could.

Maybe it would be a possibility to add a side mission or second AO just for heavy vehicles and tanks?

(or a EU #4 server with focus on vechiles gameplay, but guess thats way to much to ask for hehe)

 

But using them on EU #1 and EU #2 will sadly more destory the gameplay for all other players :/

yeah I know what your saying about armour raping AO's, I've seen it on other servers were the wipeout rapes the AO, that's why I prefer Ahoy, no wipeouts, well apart from a reward which Is rare, I think if you can control heavy armour i.e only used when called in by ground troops then it can work, but that is easier said than done trying to control people from going gung ho lol
