  2. .pbo are related to addons or BI files. First check what is the exact .pbo you are missing so we know if it's addon related or BI files. Either way, .pbo is in wrong place or you need to update repository. I don't get then, because EU#3 shouldn't let you even join the game.

  3. Hey Lex,

     

    1. Enter Setup Room subchannel of teamspeak on EU#3.

    2. When you enter the EU#3 server, you should hear TS3 saying Channel Switch with that TFAR high pitch sound.

    add. info 1: Default loadout should give you RF-7800S-TR with radio microprogrammer.

    3. Default keybinding for calling radio on screen is CTRL+P.

    add. info 2: Pressing J will show you in top right corner which squad you have joined. (This is note for me personally since I forget sometimes where I joined, lel)

    4. Adjust frequency according to radio frequency tab provided on left side for your squad. Highlight frequency and anter new one. Last, press ENT.

    5. Do a radio check pressing Caps Lock with someone from your squad.

     

    If this procedure does not work then we'll have fun in Windows OS finding plugins, userconfig.

     

    I'm not asking about your device configuration since I can hear you just fine on teamspeak3 client in every other room.

     

    Teamviewer is a no go because I don't know what will happen when you give permission to your PC when you start up the game. I don't want to find out.

  4. We need to practice this thing. Really enjoyed last two times, even it wasn't intentional. Like CMD and SLs occupying building temporarily for mission preparation, while troops guard corners of the building. Then if we need ammo, CMD informs Logi to drop ammo create or bring it with Rhino if the roads allow that. If we all like not RTBing, and we like proceeding to next objective, man, I'll be in dreamy Gauntland.

     

    Regarding calibers, I have now Masada, I need no G3 anymore. But I'm still anticipating that mk18 (2.5 update I'm counting on you). And M4 is really great weapon, but I know, it's just plain boring. M16 is even better just ugly with that grip below IMO. I mean when I go prone and see that my character still holds that grip... I should have wrist and shoulder pain. AFG (shorter weapons) or nothing. Grip orientated wrist is natural and ergonomic position. Holding rail cooling system isn't. @modders: removable grip, afg.

     

    @Tactical Bear don't get me wrong, I was marksman with light loadout before restriction on slot and still freshman on EU#3. I was running 16 inch HK417 (best looking gun, yes I'm fashion orientated) and went out of ammo, First Humvee arrived to AO, I didn't ask for anything, took m4 carryhandle and went into fight.

     

    The only thing we need still to resolve is vanilla dmg we are all having. I don't like to move to another AO in Matrix style Bullet time walk over Armaland. Huge thanks goes to moderators Smiley, Soziopath and admin Rave who keept track of our slowmo movement. Even I think if you have crashed bones of your legs you should walk like that. Then Logi needs to evac you to base so you can heal at medical tent. Went hard off-topic. Sorry. Got into it.

  5. Off-topic. Wow I didn't know that ACE's mortaring is so different from vanilla. Yes this can be accomplished very easily and quite interesting. Thx for share Rave. I was too lazy to try it myself. I even didn't know that you can zero mortar also with pg up and down. I feel ashamed. This is awesome. So - mortar team : three man team. Squadlead with receiving directions and providing all map information to gunner, gunner who adjusts and fires mortar, and mortar assistant who carries mk6 backpack or just chilling and watching fireworks from his chair with fruit juice with umbrella on top of it. Yep, sounds about right. Thanks @Rave for yt link.

  6. @Adshield I know you like tanks but yeah this is infantry based community and we just don't like heavy armor. I have yet to see Hammer or Torch moving RTB from other side of the map in mint condition. Tanks, like CAS can wipe whole AO. We all want to have fun. When we are even running some kind of tank It is only for looks of the convoy or to be main target so they don't kill rest of the convoy or truck as objective to protect. So yes, I'm up to even removing one of them; Torch or Hammer. And also tanks are buggy with that J-turn catapult stuff going on.

    Now, I'm speaking for myself but best fun for me is being Rifleman (I won't say Engineer since it's special purposed).

    Regarding 'all american marine' that is not true. We have some of american, british, belgian, german or russian equipment. If you are saying about the uniform, you can select uniform without flag. There's no restriction in running different uniform as of yet. I'm not complaining not having new digital croatian or italian camo in arsenal. If you were in majority, I'm sure staff would consider integrating more tanks on our maps. On second tought, that tank would be what is Zeus for us mortals. Like I've said if there should be this tank, I'd like that BLUFOR has that when we are russians.

  7. When I've first installed mods I had problem with TFAR and Teamspeak. Even when I thick boxes for TFAR plugin I still had the same error poping on teamspeak. I was lazy so I've just reinstalled teamspeak, then again TFAR on top of it. It worked. Then there was an TFAR update. Same procedure and it worked again.

    If you can run TFAR from TS without having issues except ones when you are in game. Try what @MessedUpSmiley suggested.

  8. 1.Important: after every update including adding or removing addons! ->In arma3sync in "Addons" tab click modsets on right side select Ahoyworld Moded and tick every box of the mod. If there is update of addons including new ones or removing one of them you should check if you have ticked every mod in repository.

    2. Go to the "Launcher option" tab. Choose everything you need from performance and tick boxes on your profile and check signatures.

    Important: game not running at all! -> In additional parameters write "0 1". You'll see if you remove additional parameters the game won't run. It will do actually = nothing.

    3. Important: Game restarts for launching of battleye! For game location (on bottom of "Launcher options" tab) pick arma3battleye.exe so you don't have to launch it separately.

     

    After this point I don't know what can cause of game not running except hardware drivers or corrupted core Windows stuff. I'm taking that you have installed all properly from the tutorial for arma3sync.

  9. Update: One of Ahoyworld users hadn't a command to access Local security policy. This happens if you have Windows Home (Premium). From microsoft technet

    and microsoft helpdesk there is written solution of enabling Local Security Policy on lower editions of Windows. However, that wasn't our case so the user updated windows to Ultimate version. It worked like a charm from that point.

         No Logi squad can't resupply heavy armor vehicles. Even on Chernarus we won't use Logi squad properly. We will first die or Vortex or Talon pilots will bring supplies or just respawn (damn you non immersive players). Yesterday on that big barrel thing I've brought you maaw + rockets that you requested from SL. It was brought by littlebird together with SL. If there's restriction that only Logi squad can deliver that...

    Like I've said in my letter status thread, I don't have to fire a single bullet. I'd love to resupply here and there and have small FOB or outpost near AO to greet assets with supply material, good chat and hot beverage, while my Logi pilot is bringing me fresh supplies all the time. On this server we are still in learning process how to use this. Yesterday was an issue during my stay on EU#3.

         You were Vortex or Talon I can't say for sure, but only one of that slot was occupied. We were 3 man team in Logi (not full of four with MHQ and BH in air). You were in a little bird and Logi pilot took BH for transporting purposes. So I've tought you could stay in MH-6 and provide CAS support but also be in agreement with Logi pilot about that. The problem was there were no EV targets or CMD was not giving you any. That means Logi pilot actually hijacked your role. My medic was on the ground with assets for AO providing them medical treatment since I hadn't information where was their squad medic. After the AO completed, counterattack started. Everything went wrong then. BH shot down, Torch got blown up by 3 rpgs (he was escorting me to AO) troops scattered, MHQ in the middle of AO sorrounded by two BTRs and two squads. I can only be happy and thankful for ground AO assets that I've managed to return MHQ intact back to base in one piece after whole AO has finished.

     

    I won't name any of the players since this is in general and I hope it won't happen again. We now have hard proof on the forums to remember us on our mistakes.

        When I've first joined EU#3 only one guy used mortars. Now, that's not happening at all. If there should be restriction, like I've said before for HAT, MAT and other heavy equipment for not using 5 javelins on the AO (way more fatigue penalty) then Logi would have plenty of work supplying troops on the ground. Until that people will still carry javelins/maaws to wipe out whole AO or there will be one man twenty mag army. Even then one of the slots Torch or Hammer should go away. There is no enough targets for everybody to have fun.

  11. @Christiansen thank you very much for clarification. I have yet to see the time of using Angel or Logi squad properly since we finish every AO under thirty minutes. Even if it prolongs and we have Logi or Angel on standby, by the time they organize themselves the assets in AO will be evacuated or reinforced by Talon or Vortex. And thanks again for the awesome experience with MHQ. It was my birthday for a moment.
