With the local voice settings on eu3 I believe the voice detection setting to be the best if the user has a clear microphone. This allows the people around the user to communicate easily and quickly without the press of a button. It also allows for extra reactions to gameplay, you wouldn't normally hear if push to talk was on.
Yet I do agree with you with the unpleasant sounds of people eating or with a really loud fan etc. (E.g Me) Hence why i'm on push to talk.

I personally believe first person mode is the best way to play arma 3, as it doesn't allow you to cheat and look around corners, where in reality you wouldn't be able to see anything. However it's probably best that the option remains in the hands of the players during normal Guantlett sessions. If it's gamenight then it should be the organisers decision end off.

Hey guys, so i've hosted a few gamenights now, using Guantlett as the base model but implementing further rule sets. From previous gamenights I've arrived at the formula of allowing arsenal but having a limited respawn system, with first person only. However my questions to you guys is what you want me to change in future gamenights that I'll host?

Starting on EU1 and then decided to check out the community from there. Eventually ended up checking out gamenights and now they're my favorite things here!

Saturday Night Gamenight!
Operation: No return Gauntlet
Time of operation start: 6:00 PM GMT
Time of preparation: 5:30 PM GMT
Brief: Insurgents have taken over multiple areas of which we will deploy to one, we will be deploying to our FOB to push back the forces. The choices are Chernarus, Fallujah or Panthera. Missions will come from Command on the day.
Arsenal will be allowed, along with join in progress. Sign up is key for those who want to take charge, especially after Raz’s team leader training. Respawning is allowed, however units can only be deployed to the area of operation in waves, subject to commands approval. This is to simulate a re-enforcement system/to get rid of vortex transporting one guy.
Normal game night rule apply, if you can’t cope with waiting to get back into the area of operations or planning please to not join.
Also I will be doing a giveaway of a £10 steam voucher during the gamenight. To qualify for this you simply need to sign up as usual and be present at the time the giveaway happens! (This is no way affiliated with ahoyworld or the staff and it is ran by myself. This is a one off event).
