    My point exactly. This simply isn't done in real life, and if people really feel they need it, we have plenty of scopes with top-mounted RDS or Irons, plus 3D scopes that will let you shoot CQB through the 4x magnifier with a little practice.

     

    By all means, add the mod, but don't for a moment think that taking scopes and suppressors on and off works like a Hollywood movie.

    true. Not like a Hollywood movie. But not that hard either with the right mount and compatible optics.

    Agree. Yesterday it was at least 2 new at leading, a1 ftl and I think bravo SL was new. They did good, had fun and prob gonna step up and lead others into a fun and semi realistic game in the future

    Hi. One of the issues is that more ppl need to step up, be tall and dark and lead the rest. The more time we use at base dicking around after we have finished the dress up game at the arsenal, the more room is there for toxicity to grow. If we stay focused at the task ahead, we don't use our boredom+energy creating the environment that has snuck in of late. For the record, I have been quite bitter of late regarding eu3 and the fun it gives me. I choose to lead again last night(see other posts) with 30 ppl beneath me, and it went like a dream, it was funny and I got a drift of the "good old days". SO things aren't that bad ppl, we just need some more good examples and role models in game more frequently (etc ryko, josh, pancake, bacon?! ;):) )

    Dont knowthe reasons behind ur choice there Ryko, but i think the community have been abit harse against recent changes, not giving it much of a chance. I for one, appreciate the work u lay down, knowing that it takes alot of time u could spend doing otherstuff. (drinking beer, chasing girls etc...l,m. :)  :)  )

    I can make an example out of myself. I used to play as SL and Co back in the day. One of the reasons that I pick the rifleman slot these days, other than less playtime/the possibility to suddenly go afk cuz of children as such is this: something changes in the playerbase/behavior. I have no interest to try and making shit happend as a SL when the members are dicking around to much and wasting mine and everyone's times. By now i learned when to not go SL by knowing certain names and their general behavior. As a rifleman I go the the arsenal and get ready in 2 minutes, then I'll tie up some flies for the next day's fishing and board the heli when The poor SL finally gotten his troops in order... But again, it's not always like that ofc.

    Yes, I have updated the arsenal to include the new RHS grips, as well as the Spectre sights for all your three-stage optical goodness.

     

    Current 45D version of the arsenal will essentially remove the SMA M4/M4A1s (except for the M4CQB) and the SMA HK416; Vlk, you know RHS has the HK416 now, yes?  SMA would be around for the AUG, L85, Tavor, HK417, MK17, Minimi and Steyr AUG.

    Hmmm.. I'm positive for set suggested marine setup. I think the current asl+medic setup is somewhat stupid. But as already mentioned, IF it works, don't fix it. It all comes down to... Does it work with the current player base + ppl taking leading roles?

    Chitchat was the wrong word. But yea, noises and a lot of screaming. There is always that someone who wants to be heard every other second. I think ptt limits that kind of behavior and we can have a casual semi adult tone with realistic gameplay without to much idle time :)

    1: Ryko for president. I enjoy his leadership. that includes 100/110/120 etc

    2: IR strobes still bugged after RHS update. THey stop working after a short period of time.

    3: Friendly fire. Its not funny getting killed by a player. That being said, its a game, on a pc, with humans behind a keyboard and a mouse, generally with no experience of real life situations/training which they can bring into their gameplay, so FF will happend once a while.

    Real life situations/training includes: Situational awerness, general understanding of warfare etc.

     

    4: To be honest, EU3 is at its peek now when it comes to playerbase, nice players and optimation compared to 1-2years ago.
