    I still don't quite have the hang of it, Ferg. You'll have to provide an amended version of the poem with it "Biebered up".

     

    Still, I think I'll only write it if I get 5 Ahoy Coins.

     

    I tried to cheat and use the "donate ahoy coins" button on your profile, but it seems to lack functionality.

    On behalf of the Core Staff, Administrative Staff, and every other member of Ahoy World.

     

    We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single subscriber for their support and (mainly) their money! We have received an unprecedented amount of support from these people and are truly grateful.

     

    What's an Ahoy+ Subscriber?

     

    An Ahoy+ subscriber is many things, they are the life blood of our service, without them there would be no I&A server and not much of a site either! They are people who want to be more than just a member, but an integral aspect of Ahoy World and it's development.

     

    Everything we do hinges on donated money from subscriptions and ahoy coin purchases, more money = greater server security and eventually upgraded performance!

     

    Where will all the donations go?

     

    Into our servers, it might simply contribute to the next monthly installment of Caroline's (The AW EU Server) rent. If there are enough donations to allow it, it could even go into a dramatic server performance upgrade! Where ever the money you donate ends up, we guarantee it is being used to sustain and improve our service for everyone who chooses to play on our servers or frequent our forums.

    Sid Meier's Civilization® V: Gold Edition!?

    Bought this during the Christmas sale. Cant remember what DLC's I got with it though. Is there a way to check on steam what DLC's I have?

    . 

    Nevermind found it. Would appear I lack the Gods and Kings expansion. Is it still possible to play without that?

     

    You can play a game with anyone who has Civ V they just have to specify which DLCs to use so yes you an play without gods & kings :)

    Well I was bored, and since Simbin have a new competition going I decided I'd post another lap video.

     

    This time I did it live so the LCD works and the steering is 1:1 with my steering IRL. 

     

    It's not the fastest time I can do, there is plenty of time to be found; I know Monza well but I'm not at all familiar with the Ferrari P4/5, which by all definitions is a complete deathtrap, it's without a doubt the hardest car I have a driven in this game so far, anything other than feather light throttle control is met with buckets of oversteer, the car fails to decelerate quickly under braking and there's a nasty tendency for it to under-steer through fast corners. Still, got within the top 400 on this lap.

     

    Windows Experience Rating Problem

    so my windows experience rating has dropped to 1.0, According to windows my graphics is only worth 1.0 point, and 2.0 for Gaming graphics. It used to be 7.9.

     

    Could this be an early indication of a hardware problem? 

     

     

    EDIT: Oh my bad, I updated the Drivers a few days ago and it needed recalculating, rating is back up again :P

    Here it is! A quick video of what it's like in R3E.

     

    Unfortunately my Thrustmaster F430 wheel is -to put it politely- misbehaving, so this is actually a recording taken from a replay of me driving the Mistrel M530 around Bathurst on a hot lap in a personal record time of 1:55:118.

     

    Because R3E is still technically in Open Beta there are a few issues here and there, in cockpit there is a lack of functioning LCD, also the steering wheel movements aren't accurate to how it actually is when live in game.

     

    Additionally I have to admit that at 1:21 in the video, contact is made with the barrier that would in reality write-off the vehicle. This was driven in Get Real (sim) mode with manual sequential transmission.
