Request: Disable VON, but allow text on selected channels.

It should be possible to disable VON is selected channels.

 

Since arma 1.59 text and voice can be individually enabled/disabled. The description in the link below is a bit unclear how this works so I do not know if this actually works as I hope.

Example:

0 enableChannel [true, false]; // Enable user ability to send text but disable voice on global channel
1 enableChannel [true, false]; // Enable user ability to send text but disable voice on side channel
2 enableChannel [true, false]; // Enable user ability to send text but disable voice on command channel

If i'm not mistaken we have something in place to disable VON in certain channels.  We're aware that it doesn't always works.  Ill look into it tonight.

Looks like a reasonable idea to me. Being a local command it should be run in onPlayerRespawn.sqf I guess.

Previous experiences taught us that those commands for some reason brake when we try to use them.  Admittedly the current way isn't perfect but we can make it work.  If anyone excessively (basically everyone but people that make a mistake and stop) talks in side or global make a member of staff aware. We will act as soon as possible after getting information like this.
