  1. I can only hope that EA doesn't ruin Mirror's Edge. I loved the first game. 

     

    Frankly, all they really need to do is eliminate most if not all of those confined 'vent' areas from the first game, and take out as much shooting that needs to be done by the player as possible. Hand to hand combat, yes please. Nothing more.

     

    As long as this happens, Mirror's Edge 2 will be a great game. Many people couldn't care less about the story, seeing as the first's story was threadbare and yet everyone loved the game because of the parkour element. One of the few occasions where gameplay trumps story, and not the other way around.

I have actually made this in my custom mission for Game Night, haven't tested it full scale but using the correct inits on the hostages will make them stay still until you trigger them to become part of your squad. After that you can just select them (with the Fx-keys) have them board a vechile, join them, take them back to base and unload them on a trigger that ends the mission successfully :)

    Oh yes, that would solve a lot of problems.

  5. I'm a Marine! Not a soldier damnit! :D  A lot of people think that deployments are just chaos like a Call Of Duty mission.

     

    Civilians rarely get to see what we do in our free time/safe time thanks to the American media. That's why we have youtube. :D

    Like the opposite of the FUNKER channel. I love those videos.

  6. If this is sort of like SS13, it'll mean there'll be 'traitors', and ALIENS OOOOOOOOO. Though from SS13 experience, it's mostly traitors who end up fucking everything up.

    I guess you take control of a mars lander/rover mission as soon as it's on entry, and explore mars?

     

    Who knows, since it's just a teaser.

  8. GMGs not dangerous!?

     

    I remember the massive clusterfuck at Camp Tempest one time. A single GMG screwed the entire team for about 30 minutes. We had two KA-60s up and one littlebird, I was flying a KA-60, and the other KA-60 pilot and I were landed at Tempest just after its AO got finished, then the next AO popped up as Girna, and a GMG spawned around 300m away from us on the ridgeline. I was like 'Guys hurry the hell up or walk, the next AO's Girna and they're spawning on that ridge' I was lifting off and was around 3m above the ground, then a single GMG round hit me square in the middle of the rotors, and I went down. The other pilot got shot too, and when we tried to get back to them, the littlebird pilot got shot when we were on the ground, so we had all three operational choppers downed in Tempest. We took the spare two littlebirds, and promptly got shot out each time we tried to land at Tempest. Took pretty much everyone on the server to try and secure that one valley.

    Server was without air for 30 minutes. All because of one fuckin' GMG.

     

    I agree with you though, it'd be nice if it wasn't always GMGs. 

    (Whatever you do don't give the super-AI .50 cal sniper rifles D: )
