Phase 2 operations are tasked with clearing the surrounding towns of the airfield including Ripdorf (north), Tatern (East), Klien Lidern (East), and Gross Lidern (East South East). The town of Halligdorf (South) and industrial complex (East) will also need to be secured during phase 1 operations. This will not be completed in one night’s op. US Airforce are providing RTOs to facilitate closer air to ground co-operation. Mission: Opposition forces: 1 Armoured East German mechanised battalion in the region, with three companies split over the aforementioned towns. The Soviet Airforce is expected to be operating in area. Task force Wolfe is the only Friendly forces in the area. Cobra Squadron (F-4 Phantoms USAF) has been tasked to provide assistance in air superiority over Roche. This is called in at Commander’s Discretion Civilians are expected to have either evacuated or taking shelter in place. Task Force Wolfe; Alpha: 1x Rifle Squad (A. Once a month a single vehicle will be delivered from Bundeswehr stockpiles. Execution: Task Force Wolfe is to secure the area around the Airfield to the North, namely the towns of Woltersburg, Ripdorf and the industrial complex. Doing this will open an air corridor for replenishment between battles. Any other targets of opportunity are to be dealt with at operational commander’s discretion. CAS will be provided by Vortex and at the operational commander’s discretion. USAF HE, cluster and Napalm is not to be used in urban areas. Sustainment: Respawn will be at ‘Mission Start’ spawn point. Save your loadout for respawn by scroll wheel on the arsenal boxes. Medical Iltis will serve as a mobile respawn and medical vehicle. Reinserts (if needed) will be conducted by Vortex. There are repair, rearm, refuel points set up at South West and 1 to the North East of the terminal building. A single resupply chinook has been made available for call in at commander’s discretion. Aircraft payloads can be altered using the Master ARM scroll wheel function when close (20m) to one of the logistics trucks near the hangars. Command and Control: Operational command will be with Alpha Squad Leader. Additional notes: All special squirrel stuff has been left in arsenal. G11 scopes NVGs FEROD -51 NTQ suppressors mg 8 AMMO Destruction of MI-24s in the last mission means there will be no Spetznaz groups in reinforcement waves. Destruction of the BMPS means there will be limited reserves of mechanised infantry. Murph Posted May 21 Author Share Posted May 21 First half of the drive north was completed, this weeks will be to finish the drive to secure the perimeter of the airfield. Bonus hint... if the airfield is secure you can get heavy lift aircraft in and out... You also have access to a flak panzer having secured it last time.
