Situation

Following the capture of Fayez Rahim we have learned of the location of the the highest members of the insurgency, the people who are the backbone of the organisation. We intend to cut the head off of the snake and hoe the rest of the organisation crumbles.

 

Today's target is Musa al-Tunisi a Tunisian native who has lent his expertise to the insurgency.

He is to be in one of 4 towns in the North West of the region. Move in and search these places and capture Musa al-Tunisi before he can escape or go to ground.

 

Following the events of our previous mission the government have cut ties with us, however our international backers have re affirmed their support, especially considering people in the government were sheltering Fayez Rahim. We no longer have the freedom of movement in government controlled areas and may be fired upon. ROE is return fire only on government forces.

Civilian presence to be expected, concentrated in built up areas.

 

Mission

Find and capture Musa al-Tunisi, be aware of Government forces as they may not be friendly. Destroy any Insurgent assets or stockpiles you find along the way. 

 

 

Execution

Objectives:

Capture Musa al-Tunisi  

Demo any Insurgent assets found during your search

Avoid disrupting truce with Tribal factions

 

 

Movement Plan:

At Commanders discretion

 

Rules of Engagement:

Enemies may be engaged on sight based on current squad orders

Civilians are present in the area so collateral damage is to be kept to a minimum.

 

 

Admin & Logistics

 

Equipment & Resupply:

At the commander’s control, assets are available at base to facilitate this.

 

Reinforcements:

Unlimited

At commanders discretion, transport assets are available.

 

 

Command & Control

 

Command:

Overall command lays with codename "Overlord" who will set objectives and ROE.

Operational control on the ground lies with the Platoon Commander.

 

Communication:

Radio channels are set for each element and can be viewed as part of the map. Platoon has limited discretion for change but structure is to be maintained.
