The changelog is as follows; - [Tweaked] Gear is now automatically saved upon closing the Arsenal and reloaded upon respawn. - [Tweaked] Admins no longer get kicked for being in a pilot seat without being pilot. - [Tweaked] Under the hood changes to the XML coding. - [Added] Toggling Sling Weapon action and Ghost Hawk doors action can now be done from the map/diary settings entry. - [Added] The old vehicle passengers information HUD has been added to the map/diary settings entry. It is off by default, but can be toggled from there.

[Tweaked] All launchers are AT only. The only exception are heavy launchers (Titan AA / AT and Vorona) which are also available to the FSG Team Leader and Gunner. Medkit and Toolkit as well as UAV and Static Weapon / Mortar Backpacks are available for everybody. The Type 115, the ASP-1 Kir and the Nightstalker optic are now available to the Recon team. The Nightstalker, TWS and TWS MG are now available to Snipers. The Ghillie suit is now available to Marksmen. The satchel charge has been removed from the general population and is now restricted to EOD Engineer and Explosive Specialists. - Changes to the naming of two slots [Tweaked] Recon Paramedic is now known as Recon Medic Recon Demolition is now known as Recon Explosive Specialist - Changes to the FSG Squad and AT [Tweaked] Only FSG Team members can enter the Mk6 Mortar (the Artillery Computer is still limited to the FSG Gunner). If the player is a pilot he can take control. If the player is not a pilot he cannot take control and recieves a message informing him about that.

  18. AhoyWorld's first Squad Night test this weekend! (24/02/18) Game: Squad Server Name: [ENG] EU1 AhoyWorld.net Map: Chora Gamemode: Insurgency Johnson and Mini will be hosting a Squad Night this weekend on Saturday, 24 February, at 16:00 UTC to test how well certain gamemodes and play-styles work out. The event will take place on the map of Chora; a small, Middle-Eastern basin located in the bottleneck of an Afghan mountain range. The gamemode will be Insurgency: The Insurgent team will be tasked with protecting five ammo caches that are randomly spawned around the map, while the US Army team must find and destroy these objectives using the Squad Leader's incendiary grenade! However, there will be some custom limitations to this gamemode during this event. This is to ensure that the core gameplay mechanics of the mode are tested: The Insurgent team must super-FOB around a singular, self-selected cache. The Insurgent Squad Leader then must tell the US Army team where their cache is once they are ready to defend it (the US Army team must not leave base until they receive this information). The US Army team can only attack this single cache once told where it is and cannot hunt for more. Should we have enough time and if the US Army manages to destroy this cache, the US Army must return to base and the process will repeat. Should the US Army run out of tickets before a singular cache is destroyed, the Insurgents win. Your hosts are hoping for about eighteen players in order to fill two squads, one for each team, so join in and help them out! Hope to see you there!
  19. Squad Server - now available at an AhoyWorld near you! Hello everyone! As of today, 16 February 2018, we have opened up a public Squad server. For those who don’t know the game, Squad is a teamwork-focused tactical shooter in the same vein as Insurgency and Arma. Logistics, manoeuvre warfare and combined arms all play a part here. In accordance with this, we want to foster a similar environment to our very own AW Enhanced: serious, fun gameplay encouraging camaraderie above all. The server is available 24/7 and those that are interested are able to apply to become a moderator here. We will look into which game modes we want to establish, but rest assured that community events are without a doubt going to be a thing to mix it up and keep it interesting. Brilliantly, thanks to the Steam sale, Squad is currently available for 25% off! So if this tickles your fancy and you haven’t got your copy yet, now’s a better time than ever to pick it up.   22. VCOM is currently live on the I&A servers. The Public Moderation Team is closely observing the mod on the server to gather an idea of the performance and stability impacts it may have on our servers. WHAT IS VCOM? Vcom is a serverside mod that aims to improve the vanilla AI combat abilities. It attempts to create a more dynamic and challenging environment compared the traditional AI battles in Arma 3. Vcom impacts a variety of skills that the AI carries and enhances these to create a more dynamic and challenging experience. Features Include: - Increased AI accuracy and Player Suppression - Enhancement of AI communication - AI use cover more extensively - AI avoid areas of heavy fire and that their buddies have fallen in - Improved Flanking - Enhanced AI Suppresion - Increased Weapon Utilization - AI use of Mines and Explosives - Improved Garrisoning - Improved Formations DO I NEED TO INSTALL ANY MODS? You do not need to install any additional mods or addons to gain the benefits of Vcom. It is a serverside mod therefore seperate mod installation is not needed by users. You can connect and play as you normally would. We hope you can give us as much feedback as possible with the introduction of Vcom, as our end goal ultimately is to enhance the enjoyment and gameplay for our community. We feel the Vcom mod does this as it offers a more dynamic experience than what the AI can offer in Vanilla Arma.
