    Maybe use the system (or something simliar to it) thats currently preventing anyone but pilots from being able to enter cockpits. 

     

    Then again I have literally no idea how all of this stuff is coded so it might be more difficult than we're expecting.

    As D.Devil said there're multiple mods you can install for the public servers (namely EU1, EU2 and EU4). Its fairly easy to do actually, and if you're having trouble getting it sorted out give this post a try. That being said iirc the repository server is a bit screwed as of right now so you might have to do it manually. I recommend this guide if you're looking for help with doing that.

    • Arma III - obviously.
    • Overwatch - Certianly playing that too much. Overwatch is a fantastic game and I cant recommend it often enough.
    • Planetbase - surprisingly fun base building strategy game
    • Civ V - I kinda refuse buying VI until Ive seen the reviews (and I dont preorder anyway) but got catched up in the hype train.
    • Star Citizen - Speaking of hype trains: here is their king. Right now its just a playable tech demo but I love the spaceships and the graphics and space and spaceships and lazors and spaceships. 
    • Skyrim - I refuse to explain why.

    A source would be greatly appreciated. I just saw that they've been inviting now Avocados. Nobody mentioned 2.6 as far as I know.

  5. Oh yea it is but from a gameplay persective there just isnt much to do right now. I just think its important that people know about the lack of content otherwise they might spend $75+ on the game but end up being disappointed.

     

    That being said I think they have a full refund policy so you could get your full money charged back within 14 days of the purchase. Dont quote me on that tho - I regret not a single penny I spent!

  6. Please keep in mind that its an alpha. Its basically a playable tech demo at least as of right now.

     

    However they are going to release the "actual" first part of the MMORPG universe within the next 3 months and SQ42 is to be released in Q1 '17 from what I can tell.

    If you are interested in the game I would recommend waiting for mid November as there's likely going to be a free flight weekend where everybody can try the game and everything it has to offer for free.

     

    If you are considering to back the game right now Im going to say it one more time: It is a playable techdemo as of right now. There isnt much to do and there isnt much content. Only back if you're really into spaceships

    The entry package with SQ42 in the store is about $90 right now but if you would like to back you can drop me a pm and I might be able to help you out to get in for about half of that price.

     

    If you would like to get an idea about whats about to drop in the next couple of months I'd recommend watching this video. Its pretty much NMS in beautiful!

    Ah well, thats not really the fault of I&A its just the map itself I think. Usually there is just a lot of open space between the LZs and AOs and running with my good old trusted Zafir towards a hostile squad is usually a horrible idea.

     

    I think the only difference between snipers and spotters is that snipers are able to use the sniper scopes, no? Yet nobody is playing spotter but everyone is playing sniper. Mysterious.

  8. If you dont mind me asking, are you some kind of dev or how did you get that amount of keys? 

    I think the game looks fun and promising but lots of the steam reviews are speaking of many bugs as well as a pretty bad stability, any idea/thoughts on that? 

     

  9. Im going to agree with the orginal idea +1.

     

    Back when we had no weight limit this wasnt causing any trouble but right now the weight of the FAKs is really bothering and taking up lots of space. Maybe, if we really need to balance it out, we could increase the weight of the medikit a little bit so people are not able to fill up their missing weight with a stupid amount of ammo/smoke?

    On a different note, at what despawn time are we looking at? Personally I never had any trouble with hostiles still being around the old AO once a new one was set up. 

    Also I'd like to point out that there's always that one idiot who thinks its funny to shoot in the general direction of the incoming helicopter, throw grenades and loads of smoke around and obviously is better at this horrible game than all of us. 

     

    Anyhow, if in doubt rather make the right (=safe) choice so I guess you made the right call. Dont mind the trolls.

    Oh nononono. Thats not what I wanted to say at all, sorry.

    I just wanted to make clear that trolls are not a problem a regular user can fix on a server. Personally I have yet to meet a serious troll on AW as they usually get banned/kicked very quickly.

  13. Trolls and fps problems are two different things.

     

    Trolls on the one hand are preventable and are being sorted out by admins so you could say that its an AW sided thing to do. Bad admins, more trolls. Good admins, no trolls.

    The fps thing is a bit different tho. The fps drops and the game crashes sound like its a user sided problem so unfortunately there is nothing AW could do to prevent that especially considering the fact that you seem to be the only case. Maybe you could reduce your settings a bit? Is this only happening on the AW multiplayer server or are there other servers where you encounter this problem too?

    Oh fair enough, I didnt know about this. Its a solid bridge and its certainly working! I just thought it looked a bit odd in, no offense after all.
