It was a straight to a 7 day ban without warning rather than a 1 day ban. Extra Posted April 11, 2016 Author Share Posted April 11, 2016 The last time i played on the server, was Friday on Luetin's zeus mission. I've been away for the weekend, and return to have a 7-day ban. I didn't receive any warnings. I have been kicked maybe twice at the most, and that in itself is due to having a high ping. Each time you are given three warnings that you have little time left to join the server. That's 15 times you've been told to join immediately and five times you've been kicked. That ignore all the other players you see getting kicked and warned in the game chat. I will send the logs in to the community referee if you wish but realise that had you simply apologised and given assurances that it wouldn't happen again your ban would have already been lifted. As it stands you've already admitted to lobby idling (and having received the warnings that come before a kick) yet refused to be in any way apologetic. But surely I can't be blamed for having a high ping which endgame results in receiving a ban 7 day ban. Ping can be the cause of a lobby idling kick. Extra Posted April 11, 2016 Author Share Posted April 11, 2016 For what its worth, frankly, it's not even worth the hassle. I will not argue against whatever verdict PERO comes to. Personally I think that lobby idling is an issue that needs to be addressed. Openly i admit that in the script that you posted it shows that i was kicked for lobby idling. Thank you for taking the time to get that information. Also thank you for replying to my ban appeal so quickly. The whole ordeal was very professional and I credit you for that. PERO Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Ping doesn`t affect the BEC script checking your state, but if someone is using your broadband, that does affect your loading times, but it shouldn`t cause you getting kicked for being in Lobby to long, especially with us restarting servers daily (if we can) so no connection issues occur towards the server. I`ll leave the ban due to only being for 7 days and we need to stomp on lobby idling hard, nothing personal. Ban appeal DENIED.
