The launcher Jester put in the ACRE TS channel's file browser called "Arma3Sync" is also really good for starting the game up with only certain mods enabled.

Yeah it would be 17:00 GMT but we're still on BST in the UK so I think for us English people it would be 18:00.

Just tried it myself, I can live with the textures to be honest, and the sounds, for the most part, are better than the vanilla ARMA 3 ones in my opinion Hope this does indeed get added to the ACRE server.

I agree this would be great on the ACRE server, people not knowing how to install mods wouldn't be a problem then because they would have already done it for ACRE. Only thing is we would have to go back to putting a password on the server.

Yeah I can verify that Archangel, it happened a few times last night. Not sure if it's the cause of the crashing though, more likely a result of it? I have no proof of that however.

that's actually how it's supposed to be, i find though if you do the following it makes it slightly more clearererer so you can here them better

 

in TS go to the channel title right click it and select set up 3d sound button, click the all around me button to arrange everyone in a circle around you then click center all you should now here people form where ever they are a bit better the fade from left to right is still there but not as hard to hear people

I was wondering if there was any way to make ACRE so that I can hear direct chat all the way around me, because at the moment I can only hear direct properly if I'm looking within about a 90 degree angle of the person talking. I'm guessing there is a way as I'm watching the stream footage from Cain and he can hear people speaking behind him.

I agree with you both, the first I&A server I joined back on Stratis was amazing because we only had transport vehicles and we all had to push together as a single force, giving each other covering fire while the others moved forward, now it just feels like people can sit in a heavy vehicle 600 odd metres away and just farm the kills.

Hey everyone. My name's Danny, I'm 20 and from England, UK. I played ARMA 2 OA for about a year and then jumped pretty much straight into the Alpha as soon as it was released for ARMA 3. Up until now I have been playing Wasteland servers and things like that; however, recently I have wanted to get more from my ARMA gameplay. Invade and Annex is perfect for me as it introduces teamwork and from my experience playing on your servers a few times the people here are extremely friendly, so for me it was a win win! I look forward many more hours fighting the enemy on your servers!
