  1. I'm there but I'm not playing a lot these days (due to Arma, and the fact I played too much on BF3 one year ago :P)

I still like it tho. It's pretty intense, fun, and you can play for short rounds (like 20 minutes) contrary to Arma, where you need to play a bit more to enjoy a game (to my opinion).

FREE TROLL PLEASE DO NOT FEED

Also, contrary to Arma 3, the physic engine means something

  2. and you guys only now are noticing this?

I posted the thread the August, 10. I think its the day after (or less than 24 hours) than the 1.93.1 release :P

Thanks for your consideration/answers tho. I hope you'll find something, because that's a bit more than a bug, it just blasts the experience :(

  3. Report: it is possible to carry 7-10 rockets/missiles in a row, allowing to beat the game without any problem.

As an example, you can use a RPG with 9 rockets or a Titan with 7 AP rockets.

The Titan is a launcher I love, but still. I think it's an exploit to stay at firebase-trenchfoot, with its ammo case providing perma ammo, and being able to shoot NPC groups at 6km on more than half of the possible objectives. At least, if you can do it, you should not be able to do it permanently.

Finally, for people saying Arma is a simulation (which I disagree but whatever), I think it is pretty hard to carry on 7+ rockets in a backpack ^^

Temporary ingame fix: remove the backpacks with the biggest capacity

Story: "As a player looking for an always more balanced game, I would like to be unable to snipe targets at range, with AOE weapons, on enemies that can not counterstrike"

    Suggestions:

-remove Titan launcher (hardest solution I guess)

    -tweak ingame rocket "weight"

    -remove biggest backpacks

-removing ammo cases from the game that are not on airbase

    -?

  4. Report: I'm experiencing hard FPS drops at various moments of the game, that will not stop once started (only on the last version). I talked to at least 2 other people that have the same problem.

Basically, after a while (random?), my FPS (that is not that good in Arma 3) drops from 20-30 average to 2-10. Exactly like a hudge memory leak.

The memory used on Windows by Arma 3 raises on the same time from 900-1000 MO to 1200-1400 MO, but my PC is supposed to handle that.

Reducing the Arma 3 graphic settings does not change anything (I normally play on High+some tweaks, and switching to lowest settings has no effects)

I would not complain if it was not bringing the game to an unplayable state (on my computer), which is the reason of this post.

Temporary ingame fix: leaving the game, disconnecting, closing arma 3, and coming back.

Story: As a player I'd like to keep the performance I had in game on the previous versions of I&A

    Suggestions:

-none. Ask me anything so I can help you identify the reason of that "I forget how to FPS" :P

-what did you changed between 2.92 and 2.93.1 besides vehicles to use, spawn location ?

    My Arma 3 launch:

    -skipIntro -noPause -noSplash -cpuCount=4 -high sets -maxMem=6144 -world=empty -mod=@CBA_A3;@sthud;@tao_foldmap_a3

    My computer hardware:
    CPU: Intel Core i5 760
    Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E LX
    Memory: 2x GSkill 4Go DDR3
    Graphic Card: Radeon HD 6850
Disks: -Flash Drive for Windows and drivers: OCZ-VERT EX2
-Hard Drive for anything else: dual Caviar Blue 7200 mounted in Raid 0
(I do not put chipset+network+sound+mouse+keyboard since it does not matter.)
  5. Report: on Girna mission creation, some of the NPCs are spawned into water, making them unable to shoot / move and pretty hard to find.

(Location: "lfrit" map mark on the second screenshot)

Temporary ingame fix: ride a seal? :)

Story: "As player, I would like to fight against enemies that are not trying to play Aquaman

    Suggestions:

    -Make them able to swimm?

-Make them spawn more at the center of the rocks?

    -?

  6. Report: when a mission popup is created on the top right of the screen while in artillery computer mode (mortar) the popup will never disappear

Temporary ingame fix: exit artillery computer, wait for the popup to fade out, and get in artillery computer again

Story: "As mortar operator, I want to be able to assit my team when they need it, without having to exit my artillery computer during 20 seconds to wait for a popup to disappear

    Suggestions:

-none, I guess it's related to those windows are created as visual filter, conflicting with artillery computer window

  8. From my own experience, "premium forums" are worth it if it is clearly stated that forum's staff has not enough time to check anything and thus will concentrate their reading on the "premium forums". IE: pay grants you a chance to be read and considered.

Since AW's staff reads and answers to pretty anything on those forums, I do not think it's more than a waste of time :)

  9. Report: when you shoot shells with the mortar, it (quite often) happens it will not reload after you fired the last HE shell (1/8)

Temporary ingame fix: (glitch): pick an explosive charge in the firetrench ammocrate, place it on the mortar; trigger it. After a few seconds a new mortar spawn with full ammo in its inventory.

Story: "As mortar operator, I want to be able to reload my mortar without having to destroy it (and thus abuse the game with the force-respawn method)."

    Suggestions:

-raise a lot the amount of HE shells available (8 -> 100 for example)?

-in the firetrench ammo crate (rooftop of the building), place "ammo" item?

-remove ammo management from the mortar?

-force the mortar operator to go resupply at the main base?

    -?
