Found this thing the other day.. In the heat of the moment I forgot to note the location.. But anyways! Has anyone else seen anything like it? Are we looking at an easteregg ? A mystery ? Who is the person on the picture, why is it in such a dark and evil look ? Is it an ALIEN ?! Oh and talking about aliens.. Wookie tired from war. Going home on his spaceship.

Ok so today it is time to have a look at the F-117 Nighthawk, and its software. We have developed a new target acquisition system patch that is uploaded to every Nighthawk today. Thought I'd share some glances of the first one. Really something else these aircrafts.. Pretty impressive to think that these birds were developed back in the late 70s.. Even today their design is future looking, and I tell you it is far from just about looks. The kind of technology resting in these things is astonishing. Night fell and we are done for the day. Remember that hovercraft I mentioned ? You can see it far in the back there, sizing up to a C-5 Galaxy. Just enormous, and equally enormous sound! Would you believe that thing to reach 40 knots?! These russians are insane. Also we have the russian seaplane up for testing tomorrow. The Caspian Monster they call it.. sure fits the name. Stay tuned.

Almyra Air Force Base. Hello my friend, today was a long ass day in the sun. VLA dish 17b started acting out this morning, we received all kind of weird garbled static and noise, so ofcourse the engineers (us) are dispatched to have a look at it.. as if we are not busy as it is. The base is a hectic place these days, lots of stuff going down. The B2s just had a bombing run over at Kavala, we could even feel the earth tremors over here!! That place is not very pretty anymore.. And the SR-71 unit is doing their thing, up and away - strictly clandestine stuff. Pilots are arming up a bit heavier as well, haven't seen that before.. We are as usual on a need to know basis so I don't ask anymore what they are up to. This is me in my tech service truck. Old pile of rust and love she is. Some old soviet surpluss goods we moved out of a USSR naval base we took a few years back. We got some trucks, BMPs and a hovercraft of insane dimensions! There also was some old weird plane thing with something that looked like ICBMs.. I really don't know, have never seen anything like it before. I'll see if I can get a hold of some pictures for you! I am waiting for Carl and Ron as they are to help me with the VLA dish. Carl is always late, for everything. There is one thing they never fitted in vehicles in the soviet union, and that is AC. I swear I am about to have a condition my self soon from this heat. Finally over at the Array field. 17b on the close left. Glad I am done reproducing my self because this can not be healthy in the long run, my sack is already itchy from just driving up to these things.. We deployed the calibration antenna on the truck and got to work with the dish communications board. Of course the truck has a nervous breakdown out here.. Ron, our security detail used to be a car mechanic before he joined the force. I got a few "hot" tips from him.. cheeky bastard.. Soon got this.. ! Ready to roll! Soviet machinery is very simple. Carl just finished up swapping the com board so we can finally get out of this frying pan. Aaand its Carl time. Ron tries to explain, again, that the security detail need to sit by the door should shit go down. But Carl is beeing himself and is apparently allergic to sitting in the mid seat. The shit I got to deal with.. Tomorrow I am going to help one of the Nighthawk pilots with some software upgrades on his plane. Nice one Danny! Does it have any aftermath effects ? airborne particles, fallout, dust etc ? Oh and shockwaves ? I tried out one nuke that came with the B2 Bomber LoCW pack, It lookes a bit different from yours, not that nice fireball.. But it has some pretty cool devastating effects from shockwaves and dust blocking the sunlight. We received intel of a civilian who came across some photos with a specific time stamp. These images were by mistake available a short period of time. Of course they are no longer there to be seen. Two years ago the government ordered a full scene evacuation of the entire area due to an aledged epidemic virus outbreak. Following is a photo of the dried lake bed on Altis. He was playing around on Giggle Maps and got this. It caught our attention and strings were pulled to get som satellite imagery from the area. The dish arrays seen in the images are assumed to be VLAs. Intended use is unknown. We will scramble a reconnaissance team asap and try to insert them on the Island, more intel will follow.

Archangel this was awesome, ofcourse we need more of this. We see it as screenshots in rapid order, like a slideshow, Thumbs up from me Always good to see great gameplay caught on tape or pictures! Always make time for fun during war! We saw this childs slide when heading into the AO, half the squad went ooooh! aand it was playtime =)

The Navy is coming! The Army had to check it out. Got some new toys. Love the versatility of ArmA games, and not the least its mods! ... er.. could not resist.
