    Official Ahoyworld FTB server now open

    Ahoyworld Official Feed the Beast Server


     


    Ahoyworld recently migrated the Unofficial FTB server over to the main server area


    because of this it has now become the official AW Feed the beast server.


     


    Server IP: mc.ahoyworld.co.uk:25565


     


    The server is open 24/7 and contains its own rules separate from the vanilla survival server!


     


    What is Feed the Beast?


    Feed the beast is a Mod pack for minecraft that contains over 60 different modifications. These add a whole assortment of new blocks,


    mobs, dimensions, machines and many other amazing things to spend your time working on.


    To play you must have the feed the beast launcher which you can download from here.


    The pack that the server runs on is the Ultimate pack and receives regular updates so watch here to keep up to date.


     


    How to join


    There is an active whitelist, meaning, to join the server you must be an active "known" member of the Ahoyworld community.


    You must be registered on the website then be active on the forums for a while after this you may get in touch with


    one of the core staff of Ahoyworld or any of the Minecraft admins (Proxima, Bufu) to be added to the whitelist.


     


    Since Feed the beast contains many many different mods there have been a set of rules put in place to make sure that


    everyone gets the most out of their playing experience.

    This reminds me of those times when I was a kid and really wanted to go outside and ride my bicycle but couldn't because it was raining, just end up staring out the window angry at the weather. This time I want to stay inside and play PC games, but instead I'm staring at the monitor angry at some unknown losers sitting alone in a dark room somewhere. Times have changed man...

     

    I can just imagine if it was completely vice versa:

    *plays outside*

    Mum: "Bill, come inside and play on the computer for a while, you have been outside for hours, you need to take a break"

    Me: "but mum, i wanna play outside... in the fresh air... with my friends!"

    Mum:"You are gonna play video game right now mr."

    Mobile site bugged

    Since there is no longer a "report bug" area that I can find, I thought I would post this here.

     

    The mobile version of the site is unusable since the change it aesthetics and layout. Buttons cannot be clicked and none of the text is easily readable as it all gets formatted very strangely.

    I use the mobile site all the time when I cannot get to my PC so this is important for me :)

    Can't take any pictures as I don't have a camera but as for my set-up I have:

     

    19" square monitor (soon to be 2 monitors)

    Dell speakers

    Blue Yeti microphone (for recording and chatting on teamspeak)

    Logitech comfort keyboard

    Perixx 7 button macro mouse

    Not as good as most peoples but it does everything I want it to and more and I love it :D
