  1. Nice one dude, keep it up :D when I've got a little more money I wouldn't mind forking out for a g27 and coming to beat your arse!

How far away is Assetto Corsa from release now? I haven't really kept track of that.

  2. People will still mod arma III like they did to arma II considering a lot of game modes such as Origins and Breaking point are still very popular, it will just be nice when there is more variety in what you can do and play within the game.

  3. Yeah, I love that board, It makes your system look seriously boss when it's done properly with braided cables and all the other bells and whistles. I can't stress how much I dislike badly color coded internals :P well unless they are not visible.

Thermal Armour sounds so, so frickin' cool. :D

    ^ This as well.

  4. @ Kam it looks like your mainbord is all covered up with something fancy... ?

It looks like the Asus Sabertooth heat shield / thermal armor malarkey. I believe it's one giant heatsink for the mainboard, it's such a cool feature and looks ace on colour coded builds, I sometimes wish I had purchased that one over the R4E.

  5. I've never liked the ASUS overclocking software, always found it a little unstable and tacky. (I've been using their boards since the original Crosshair #loyal haha).

I typically use the boring old multiplier OC as it's less of a brain ache than playing with the base clock, like you said because it does make you want to ruin anything in sight :P.

  6. Kyrie, do you see any changes i arma 3 and FPS if you disable the CPU OC? Some say that the FPS problems are due to low CPU usage by the game, and im wondering if OC-ing the CPU might help :)

I've tried with standard turbo-boost and overclocking to 4.5 the higher the OC the better the FPS although I still need to play around because Arma is a funny old sod when it comes to CPU usage and what's best for it.

I still need to try without things like hyper-threading on/off and possibly setting the cores used most with a higher frequency than the others etc but I will post results as and when I test these things out.

  7. This is my baby :>

  8. Oh yeah, gravel, bubble machine and sunken loot & pirate ship is a 100% definite gogo, I just haven't got around to purchasing them yet.

As for upgrades my precious is air cooled so, this is my side project and girlfriends PC so I won't be upgrading really, although I am adding in a few things to help me upgrade when it's all in the fish tank.

  9. Ace I'll be on sometime this evening see if you can't one other person such as fergi or jack to join us in this and we can do a recording of each perspective.

:) This will be good. Just I have a lot of decorating to do today and such so I won't be on until sometime this evening.

  10. haha i wish i could have fish in it :( although despite getting over the oil the chances of electrocuting them selves on a short circuit would be rather hilarious :D

Yeah I can't wait have everything in and working. Although I'm still pretty scared to pour the 25 liters of oil in it rofl.

  11. Here is a few pictures showing all the parts i've bought for this project :) going to be cutting and modding some perspex later today or tomorrow to mount the motherboard on, after that it's wiring it all up and finding places to mount everything.

Cannot wait to get this finished.

I will upload some more pictures and video's of my progress and as when I continue.

  12. Indie multiplayer games are always a blast and there a few people around here that would enjoy doing some collaborative work, are you in to any games in particular?

It seems your into a lot of classic game boy era style games, perhaps do some more of the popular ones from around that time as well? I know there is still a relativity large crowd for anything retro.

Other than that everything else on your channel seems pretty up together and sweet :)
