  1. I would like to know what you would want to be in arma 4 or future updates to arma 3.

    I would like:

1 Loads of Camos for Weapons/Vehicles/and Clothes.

2 Good old US vs. Russia

    3 Fleshed put underwater combat

    4 A lot more vehicles

5 A map with multiple biomes but is still grounded in reality.

6 No ACTION MENU or a greatly improved one/

7 Way to jump or vault quicker.

  2. Doesn't seem to me like something that'd be client-side only, but it might actually be useful on #3. We tend to break things. I wonder what the limits of this would be as well, i.e. could I use a Chinook to lift a boat towing a boat? Maybe I'll experiment.

I actually tried to lift a Hemtt that was towing a hunter with a Huron.  The ropes between the Hemtt and the Hunter just disappeared. The towing mod/sling is also server side.

  3. This is a edit of the one I put in the ArmA section. Didn't know whether to put it here or there. Basically I think it would be a very nice addition to EU1 and EU2. We can now put the buzzard back in its hangar when done. We can also use hunters and hemtts to tow helicopters and jets out of their hangars into the runway. We can also use towing to rescue a damage vehicle like a medical hemtt and bring it to a repair station. This can also clear vehicle debris.

When I am done with the mod review I will link it here for you to see the mod.

  4. The Helis can already sling some light vehicles, which is fine.

Same, I was sort of on the edge of whether including the sling because it is sort of pointless.

I also talked to the mod maker and he said that in the next update the option to choose between attaching ropes to the back or front of a vehicle will be available.

  5. TheScar, you overestimate the teamplay during weekdays. During weekends, when the servers are propperly populated it works fine, but especially later at night during working days, the servers are less populated and the people playing rarely if ever cooporate.

I know that the goal is to have everyone cooporate, but you mainly get a bunch of lonewolfs at later hours. I completly agree with what you're saying, but I'm also realizing that it's usually working really bad at later hours, as the playercount drops and the towers don't get taken down in time. You simply cannot do it all by yourself and you are usually stuck in a situation where there arn't enough compentent, cooperative players online to accually accomplish such a task.

I agree, when me and my friends play on the server there are usually 20 people on. It takes like 2-3 hours to do a single mission. I have been a pilot and jets can be somewhat frustrating when I am the only one at base. But, I do agree that they add needed challenges and more reasons for cooperation. I usually play 5-8pm CST on weekdays.
