  1. I read some comments on another post about restricting some of the items in the VAS. I had an idea about it and thought I'd start a new topic in case anyone else also had ideas about restricting the VAS. Hopefully others can build off this idea or think of new ones. Completing a Side Mission currently only offers vehicle rewards (if I'm correct). What if some of the vehicles that are rewards from the Side Mission are removed (or not removed) and replaced with certain items from the VAS? Certain Items from the VAS such as, the Laser Designator, Weapon Attachments, Weapons, etc... could be removed from the VAS and added as a Side Mission reward or even as a reward for completing the AO. I'm sure that there would be many problems with this in the editor.PS. Unfamiliar with the editor but very creative.
  2. So recently I've been heading into AO's without vehicles and minor amounts of infantry. This is mainly due to UAV's, and the people freely firing with them. I understand its a public server so you don't have to ask for permission to fire, but as infantry its becoming really boring to just fly to an AO without any threat of enemy vehicles. Not sure if anyone else see's this issue and the only solution I can think of is to reduce the UAV's ATGM's to 2 down from 6. I personally like the UAV's and the idea that they have a long respawn time, but they are clearing AO's of all vehicles before some of our guys get there. Just a suggestion to reduce the ATGM's (If possible) or bring back the UAV's with GBU-12's.

  4. Another suggestion of mine, adding enemy reinforcement's to AO's. First of all I would not be surprised if this has been brought up before, and secondly I am unfamiliar with the editor, meaning I'm not sure if this can be implemented. The Radio Tower is currently preventing the usage of personal UAV's, which I find the UAV's to be helpful when searching for the last remaining enemies in an AO. What if the radio tower, or some other object became a source for the enemy calling in reinforcements? Meaning once this object is destroyed the enemy will no longer be able to call in reinforcements. My reason for this is because usually AO's are cleared in under 10 minutes which seems pretty quick in my opinion. As far as what the enemy reinforcements would be could range from more CAS, Tanks, or Infantry. Hope to get feedback on why this idea would be good or bad.
  5. Hey guys just a thought of mine about adding in FOB's. So here's what I've come up with... If a FOB is added into the I&A servers here's what it could bring. Players would not be able to spawn at a FOB. FOB's would be equipped with a Virtual Ammo Box to allow for quick resupplies before heading to a new AO close by, instead of having to fly back to home base. There are plenty of pilots available for transport, I'm stating this because some could make an argument about pilots not returning to base to pick up newcomers to the server. The FOB's would have minimal vehicles, this obviously would be determined by whoever adds it (if they do). I do have plenty more thoughts about FOB's but want to know what you guys think about the idea. This is just a suggestion that I would like to see added to the servers.
