  1. I'll try not to spend my 175k spruce logs all at once while your gone

Enjoy the brake dude ill keep a close eye on the MC server in the mean while, maybe my internets will act nice for a change and allow me to download the map so i can test the updates properly before releasing them <_<

  2. I have been trying this tool today, just for the sake of trying it, so far it seems to be a ok tool, in my case im just to short on resources so it doesnt help for load ballancing but i did find out what the issue was that kept on lagging me (tested in extreem situation server +  client on the same rig, im fine most of the time with minecraft and modded (ftb)). This will really help me on running FTB with a HD texture pack though, i might actually be able to enjoy my game more, instead of the usual waiting for screens/windows/texture to pop up.

But if you are really short on RAM and CPU this tool will just make it a little bit worse, simply cause it wants to do stuff when you PC is hanging up, minor increase in load though (not like opening Windows Preformance monitor or anything lol) and only an issue on the first lag spike the tool does smooth it out and resolves the issue for you witch is kinda nice and prevents a lot of memory/cpu related crashes (dang java ....).

Edit: Sadly for me when i was going over my log files, this tool generated Java errors when tempering with my server instance, so it does seem that it changes some things that not all programs might like. So far that is the only issue i can find though, other then that if you know what everything means and does this tool is safe to use. i haven't fully tested this, but i think the changes made are only active when the core from this programs is running, it seems like everything reverts back to normal after rebooting and not using the tool again.

    • Disallowed processes, terminate bothersome processes every time they are seen running

    ROLF, no comment :P

Im never a really big fan of tools like this, the site its on already gives me the shivers for some reason (just giving it a quick glance that is).

That being sad some of the features mentioned are rather intresting, specially cause there kind of a hassle to adjust in Windows itself.

Iff been trying to find what is lagging out my PC and this tool seems perfect for that job, maybe ill give a try aswell this week on my windows testing boot.

I would be carefull though untill you sure if its not harmfull, it does sound like it can wreck your rig.

  3. DDos is for kids that dont know how to hack, i wouldnt try to find to much reason behind it tbh, its not like there going true tons of effort or loop holes to get it setup anyways. I wish the same could be said for DDos prevention for that matter ;)

  4. i was 5 min away from completing a script i was working on whole day.

And i now imagine our dear server being attacked, waiting in it's 19" rack together with all his lovedones and friends hoping that the storm will blow over soon.

I can hear the server crying for me to connect and save about 2 hours worth of unsaved progress still opened on it's desktop.....

O god DDos and unsaved progress, this is going to hurt :(

  5. This reminds me of those times when I was a kid and really wanted to go outside and ride my bicycle but couldn't because it was raining, just end up staring out the window angry at the weather. This time I want to stay inside and play PC games, but instead I'm staring at the monitor angry at some unknown losers sitting alone in a dark room somewhere. Times have changed man...

To make it even worse its also raining cats and dogs over here, so im stairing at 2 windows so to speak :(

  6. Ummm, one question... why can someone open my chest even though they are not trusted?

John, my friend found you house and isnt trusted (he's new) and can open everything AND build? fix, fix, fix! Thanks! :)

    ~juju

Hmmm wierd, i can not open any chest aside my own, there are a few people close to me/spawn and for us the protection is working perfectly.

Are you sure the things (chests and the stuff he build) are inside the boundry's of your protected area ? You can check this by using the gold shovel inside your claimed land and the gold blocks that mark the boundry show up again.

  7. I'm a Marine! Not a soldier damnit! :D  A lot of people think that deployments are just chaos like a Call Of Duty mission.

Civilians rarely get to see what we do in our free time/safe time thanks to the American media. That's why we have youtube. :D

Oeps sorry ok marines then >< Gotta love those tubes ;)

  8. A video my squad leader made during our last deployment with 2/8 and 1/6 Lima. We were originally based out in Helmand and accepted orders to assist 2/8 with a food run for the villages in their AO since they were undermanned.  Ghazni sucks ass so we tried to make it a lot more enjoyable. I'm at 0:19, shaking my money maker. :(

Your in the army now ohooohooo your in the army now ..... *cough* funny stuff, i always wonderd what the soldiers do all day on deployment i gues now we know hehe
