  1. I got an interesting idea while playing on our server when the revive script was broken and you got revived without ammo. What we had to do which was not very realistic was to respawn, which we didn't want to default back to because we liked the whole medic thing in the field. What we did do was call inn the pilot, making requests for him to fill his backback with ammo and bring it to a marked LZ not too far away from us. How about making some kind of container, that can be filled with a set amount of items (ammo, HE, rockets, kits, charges), this crate can in turn be dragged over to the proximity of a vehicle or chopper, flown into combat, unloaded, dragged and placed at a safe location close to the front. The crate would of course not be indestructible, and a grenade landing close to it would blow it up and take anyone within an explosive charges range with it. These crates would not be part of the loadout, they would spawn in as rewards for side missions, so that they're not abused in numbers, making it too easy. This would also make them valuable, and people would not want to leave them in combat or place them in an unprotected area of the front.

  3. is there not a way to check what model the building variable is? if its !== "pretty", then its destroyed and mission ends...

  5. I tried overclocking using the rampage software, didn't work and for a while I was worried. Not doing it again, i HATE working with PC problems at home as much as i HATE it at work. It makes me want to rape and kill innocent dolphins. IOW, waiting for Bohemia optimizations

  7. Kyrie, do you see any changes i arma 3 and FPS if you disable the CPU OC? Some say that the FPS problems are due to low CPU usage by the game, and im wondering if OC-ing the CPU might help

    Hello, I forgot how old I am...27? I was born in 1986 I come from Norway, and I live here as well. More specifically in Trondheim at the moment, where I work as a systems consultant (IT). I've lived here for 10 years, and worked in IT for 5. I specialize in Terminal Services and MSSQL (DBA). Me, my GF (23) and Zelda (3) live in own our own 86 sqm appartment in the city, where she works for an Apple retailer, and I for Dustins recently acquired sales and consulting division in Norway. In my spare time I usually play PC-games or Fifa (hate it) on my PS3. During spring and summer I dwell with weapons such as rifles, shotguns and sometimes small arms, the latter I only lend at clubs and use in indoor firing ranges. I haven't used my guns much for hunting, mostly range and clay pigeon shooting, but I aim to go on a real hunting trip this fall.   10. Having alot of fun on Your server, been obsessed With it since I started testing arma 3 a week ago I like flying around in the chopper, but when Im on the ground I like playing medic. Ive read all the posts in this thread and I saw that the revive script could be implemented, will it be on the AW-server? I saw a few serveres having a script that let you stay on the ground for a set amount of time in order for medics to revive you, and if you were revived you had a set amount of lives, so that you couldnt be revived forever. This is probably the script refered to earlier in this thread, but how about editing it before its implemented, so that the grace period before Death is random, remove the lives thing and make it so that a dice roll decides if you can be revived or not if you get shot. (if possible, depending on where you are hit, if that stuff is tracked and not too heavy to use). Oh, and i think that restricting, at least the main and side arm is a bad idea, but limiting the AT and perhaps the explosives to a certain class would make some classes in a Squad more valuable and increase the need to work tactically. Also increasing the need for a good team leader to keep crazy medics and specialists from running up front getting killed
