[One shot kills]

I´ve noticed that since the patch from yesterday (17 sept) i keep getting one shotted. When i played before the patch one shot kills were rare apart from the .50 cal or other heavy caliber. From playing today and yesterday i´ve died like 5 or 6 times and every one of them was a one shot kill despite me wearing high armour uniform, vest and helmet. Have this happened to anyone else or am i just getting really unlucky? Want to add that besides this i love EU #3, all the mods makes this a very realistic game which is the reason why i play Arma

Hey i want to download the mission Gauntlet which is on Chernarus (Summer), Panthera and Fallujah. I downloaded v 0.30 from armaholic but there were a lot fewer enemies and not all missions was there. Where can i get the latest version?

Hi Slugg, any idea who changed it? there was probably a legitimate reason to do it without notice but i'll find out for you if you can provide me with some details

 

No i don´t think so because another person on the server told me the admin asked them. I guess they were at the spawn point and the admin didn´t know that other players was out in the AO.

Hey i was playing Chernarus summer and had been playing for ~4 hours on one mission when the map changed without any warning, It was very frustrating. Also i was playing the mission nightime but after 2 hours it changed to bright daylight. I just want to remind admins to ask everyone in the chat before changing map/mission/daytime.

If you're getting a message regarding STI Launchers and you downloaded using the Arma 3 sync repo, first thing I would suggest is remove the current STI Launchers folder in your Arma 3 directory, download the mod individually from here... http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26249 ... and try loading up and joining again.

[Unable to join Modded EU#3 Server]

I have installed arma 3 sync, connected to you repository downloaded all the things, got TFAR, started the game with all the mods enabled. But when i join i just get thrown back to the multiplayer menu. I want to mention that i do get a message when i start up arma 3 that reads: "sti weapon launchers requires addon extended event handlers" But the game still starts up and there is a white tick in the addons menu ingame

Hi there, I put fast time in because of the opposite cry from the public, the majority wanted more night and so ensuring that it was mid summer i roughly guess there is 2/3 day and 1/3 night.

 

 

The time goes by around 5 minutes for every 1 minute = 6 minutes go by per minute (perhaps my maths is going to fall down here but ill demonstrate, this will be very embarrassing if i get this wrong

 

24 * 60 = 1440 (minutes per real day)

1440 / 6 = 240 (minutes per game day)convert that back into hours240/60 = 4 real hours per game dayCorrect me if I'm wrong, furthermore:22nd of July (date used in game currently) approximately in Greece, Athenssunrise: 0621sunset: 204414 hours 23 minutes of daylight and 9 hours 37 minutes of night(14*60)+23 = 863 minutes of real daylight863 / 6 = 143.83333 minutes of game daylight2.39722 real hours of game daylightso finally! 

4 - 2.397222 = 1.60278 of night

I think that that's quite a nice contrast between the two. if you however asked me to slow down sunsets/sunrises It's possible but it would throw off the feel of it. having a sunrise lasting as long as half a day would be weird. Making more time changes per minute is a bad idea so i think this is what we should be comfortable with

 

 

Thank you for your explanation that´s what i was looking for. At which irl time do you usually restart the server?

I still want to have more daylight and if there were more people like me that would step up maybe we could see some more daylight.

First of all i play on AhoyWorlds servers alot since i noticed they are among the best out there.

But it seems that 8/10 times when i get on the server it´s night. I like it much more when it´s daylight.

 

The strange thing is that 7 am to 7 pm in game seems to go by in like 15 irl minutes where as 9 pm to 2 pm takes 3 irl hours.

 

I request more daylight on the Arma 3 I&A servers!
