The Java on my PC is newer that what is suggested on the Arma3Sync download page, and don't really want to start messing with the registry on my machine. Solution was to copy one of the Java files and rename it, which seems to have worked a treat (found here)... Thanks to ShadowAce11 for the fix. Answers on a postcard please....... renaming will not work, this is because its a version number and the JRE will be looking for that file. your best to reinstall java. this way you have a clean install and see if that works. then we can go from a fresh install with any fixes that might be possible.
