Arma3Sync Registry Issues

Hi all,

Has anyone encountered this issue when trying to start Arma3Sync?

The Java on my PC is newer that what is suggested on the Arma3Sync download page, and don't really want to start messing with the registry on my machine.

Thanks - Zed

Thanks for the quick response - I did a quick serarch online which redirected me back to this forum.

Solution was to copy one of the Java files and rename it, which seems to have worked a treat (found here)...

Thanks to ShadowAce11 for the fix.

Spoke too soon :(

The file I copied was jre1.8.0_151 and not jre1.8.0_101 as suggested in the fix above.

I renamed the _151 to _65, but unfortunately this did not work for me.

Answers on a postcard please.......

renaming will not work, this is because its a version number and the JRE will be looking for that file. your best to reinstall java. this way you have a clean install and see if that works. then we can go from a fresh install with any fixes that might be possible.
