Greetings future squadmates,

I am new to AhoyWorld. I have very little multiplayer experience with Arma but have completed all of the campaigns and made my own missions in the editor. I prefer to play supporting roles whether it be an airbridge, CAS, medic, or artillery. That being said I am more than happy to fill any open billet. Regrettably, I have no experience using Team Speak. ~Physics

Hi Physics,

If you are new I would recommend that you try out the Invade&Annex servers first (EU1, EU2 and EU4). These ones are a lot of fun and very beginner-friendly.

You can join these ones either by just searching for "AhoyWorld" or by using the IPs wich can be found here: https://forums.ahoyworld.net/topic/7987-ahoyworld-public-server-ips/

If you want to play with a few, very small, nice mods that provide an even better experience you can see wich ones are allowed and find a guide-link on how to install them here: https://forums.ahoyworld.net/topic/763-eu1-2-accepted-addons-repository-info/

You can play all these roles (except the artillery) on our servers; just feel free to join! No problem, the use of TS is not mandatory when playing on the I&A servers but I would recommend that you give it try since there you´ll meet a lot of other AW members wich will make it more easy to play as a squad and wich will get you even more involved into this community. Also you will always find someone on there who can help. If you want to give it a try just hop onto: ts.ahoyworld.net

 

 

If you are getting more familiar with all the controls, TS, etc. and want to have a little bit more milsim-ish/teamplay oriented gameplay then you can also check out our modded server AhoyWorld Enhanced (AWE).

For this one you´ll actually need to download a lot of mods but it´s definitly worth it! A link on how to install the mods and TFAR (it´s a needed TS-Addon) can be found here: https://forums.ahoyworld.net/topic/3174-how-to-install-the-ahoyworld-enhanced-and-public-mods-install-tfar/

I suggest starting out as rifleman to learn the basics. Always ID Ur targets before engaging. Do not teamkill or destroy assets. If U find player who does such things, report them here: http://www.ahoyworld.net/pr/
