BloodInTheSand
Hello folks! So, I'm looking to make a new guide some time soon and I would really appreciate your input on what to test next. Please have a look at the above poll options and see which you would prefer. Standard calibers are 9mm, .45 ACP, 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO, 5.45x39 and 7.62x39. Though on top of this I will include .300 win mag and .338 Lapua Mag. Friendly vehicles include Humvees, Jackals, Coyotes, Land Rovers, the bigger MRAPs and some other light armour. Testing will be done with the RPG26 and RPG7 standard HEAT rockets. Leos guide to explosive gives a fairly comprehensive guide on mines and charges, which will cover the damage done by explosives vehicles stronger than I will be testing - as well as this, mines are not commonly seen on server without a Zeus so I feel testing these will be redundant. BloodInTheSand
Just now, Stanhope said: *cough cough* .50 BMG *cough* I can already confirm that .50BMG at that range VS a russian plate carrier is an instant kill. In fact, you can nick their big toe at that distance and it's still an instant kill. Stanhope

BloodInTheSand
For reference on this as well, any shots taken at friendly vehicles will be taken from the sides to simulate an ambush of sorts
BloodInTheSand
Bare in mind also these are the next two topics to test. Doing one of them doesn't mean I'm not doing the other, it just means it won't be done for a while. Think in the region of a couple of weeks. Amentes
If you wanna test round lethality, do it with the common weapon archetypes? RHS Mk18 with RHS M318 rounds RHS HK416 with RHS M318 rounds RHS Mk 11 Mod 0 with RHS M993 rounds RHS EBR with RHS M993 rounds RHS Glock 17 with RHS FMJ rounds BAF L85A2 with BAF rounds BAF L129A1 with BAF rounds BAF Glock 17 with BAF rounds Use Russian and Insurgent units as targets. For vehicles, test RPG-7s and RPG-22s against variants of Bradley and Abrams?

BloodInTheSand
Right. Since I can't sleep and I've got nothing better to do, I'm going to start testing common calibers. I'll make a seperate forum post and update it as I complete each test. Amentes and Stanhope
