BIP Chris
In-game name when banned: [BIP] Chris Wagner What message displays when you attempt to connect? Admin Ban ([BIP] Chris Wagner/Advertising/Teddy) Why do you think you were banned? I am sure that I was banned because I wrote my Teamspeak IP in the group Chat. Why (in your personal opinion) should your ban be lifted? I think I should be unbanned is because when I wrote the IP in the Chat, there where only two guys left in my Squad and one said that he had to get offline and would like to add us on Steam, (we three did not know each other and meet on the Ahoy Server) so we did and I said that I would be on that Teamspeak so they can connect there and we can play some Arma 3 together. I dont think that it is Advertising when I wrote the Teamspeak IP to two other guys that would like to play some Arma 3 (Ahoy eventually) with me. And sorry for the broken English, I´m not native. Which administrator banned you (if known): Teddy When were you banned: 3.3.2017 kind of 4 or 5 AM (CET)
Chuck
Ahoyworld has a zero policy on Advertisement of any sort. The official Ahoyworld Teampeak server is running so that people like you can join, ask for a channel to be made or go into the EU1 channel and talk there. There is no excuse that you didn't see it if you where going to use that one anyway. The link is everywhere. 30 guys or two guys in your squad doesn't mean its OK. The In-game VON works very well now and you can hear people as light as day, not much need for Teamspeak. Yes, giving people the IP to your Teamspeak server is most definitely advertising. If you added them on steam and sent them the IP there is nothing wrong with that. Ban appeal denied Chuck Stand-in Community Referee.
