GamerbugUK
I use this, https://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Keyboard-Backlit-Software-Management/dp/B00B2FP6EM It's not mechanical but awesome (I have a mech (Logitech G910) but this is quieter, so that is agathering dust). Had it set up in a dual monitor fashion but wasn't too keen, so back to the single 1440p for now. Looking to pick up another SSD in the future and possibly upgrade my CPU, but I'm happy with 'er for now.

Mad Eye Moody
Looking for reviews and recommendations for a 27 inch hd, 1 ms response, LED monitor, either flat screen or curved, tilt adjustable or adaptable to a stand. Currently I am running a 22 inch Samsung which has been great but as it’s now about 5 years old it’s colours are beginning to fade. Manufacturers Short list so farAsus and Samsung but I am open to suggestions for sub £300 units. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'll assume 1080 as you are asking under £300; I've had BenQ's in the past (still have one as a second monitor ) and those can be great. PLenty offter tilt and rotate (mine is currently in portrait for recording/streaming setup)

GhostDragon
For £300 you can have a lot more monitor than just 1080p so here are a few options for 1080p: https://www.cclonline.com/product/250623/UM-HX1EE-B01/Monitors/Acer-KG271Bbmiipx-27-inch-240Hz-Full-HD-TN-LED-Backlit-Gaming-Monitor-with-FreeSync-Speakers-DisplayPort-and-HDMI/MON4865/ https://www.cclonline.com/product/238525/90LM01M0-B05170/Monitors/Asus-VP278QG-27-inch-Gaming-Monitor-1200-1-300cd/m2-1920x1080-1ms-2-x-HDMI-/D-Sub/DisplayPort-Black-/MON4549/ 1440p: https://www.cclonline.com/product/248690/UM-HX1EE-032/Monitors/Acer-KG271Ubmiippxx-27-inch-WQHD-TN-LED-Backlit-ZeroFrame-Gaming-Monitor-with-FreeSync-Speakers-2-x-HDMI-and-2-x-DisplayPort-Inputs-Black-/MON4825/ 4k: https://www.cclonline.com/product/182832/LU28E590DS/EN/Monitors/Samsung-U28E590D-28-inch-UHD-Monitor-1000-1-370cd/m2-3840x2160-1ms-DisplayPort/HDMI/MON3347/ Personally i would recommend a 1080 or 1440p monitor that has support for a higher than 60/75Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. I simply included the 4k monitor for reference. (links are from ccl because im familiar with the website due to working there most monitors can be found on amazon )

So there is another question. GhostDragon

GhostDragon
I Always suggest 1ms response time because then in other games you wont have any imput lag.
ansin11
I may or may not be currently using an Acer CB280HK which does in fact come with a 1 ms response time and I may or may not be playing on a rather high resolution, but from previous experiences I can confirm that 2 and 3 ms response times are actually still fine too Unless you intend to play competitively that is
GhostDragon
Yeah for arma its not that important but other games it is pretty noticable

I am just lucky enough to have a fair amount of disposable cash to buy nice gear if I want it or think it’s justified. ansin11
In this case I highly recommend making a 1 ms response time no criteria as something as <7 ms will give you a lot more choice in monitors. FPS and ping are exponentially more noticeable factors and they have got nothing to do with your monitor

I aim for under 5 but no idea how much it helps with the games I play. Of course of you get 1ms because everything else about the monitor is what you want then fair play.
