Karate Pyjamas
Hey,There's a lot of us out there who play airsoft but so far I rarely see people talk about it or even show their gear. What's up with that? If you play airsoft you're a gear whore who needs to boast about it! Time to start sharing your guns and your load-out guys! Here's all my guns so far:-Cyma AK47 Whole lot of ABS but really great deal.-Cyma Colt M4 CQB-R Full Metal, my primary.-Walther P99 DAO (I think it's Umarex but I got it for free because it's a leaky son of a bitch.)-KJW KP-03 Glock 23, also a gas spewing leaky son of a bitch, only 1 mag works with it, fun to shoot occasionally but half of the time the slide just freezes over...-Blackwater 1911R2, my primary pistol. I use it for both IAPS/IPSC Steelchallenge and Skirmishes. Only pistol I managed to make a kill on the field with. My back-up primary, the AK47. I have a few hi-caps and a few midcaps for it. Shoots like a dream for the money. Will replace the Compact Scope with a red dot when I get that in the mail. I'm aiming for a T1 compact red dot. Shoots 375fps out of the box with lowers at around 365fps. Last time I chrono'd it actually shot 380fps which means that it's currently too hot to do skirmishes with. I'll look into downgrading it or wearing out the spring a bit to get it down. I love the scopemount I put on my AK, it fits around the regular ironsight and it allows you to still use it in it's lowest position, which tbh is only useful when you're really really darn close to your enemy My primary-primary the Colt M4. Shoots at around 345fps, great range, great hop. Just does what you expect it to do and better. Was twice as expensive as my AK, but hey, full metal and all the licensing marks on the upper and lower. Also, that's me being super serious and definitely not posing at all. *cough* Scope is a Swiss Arms Compact scope 1.5-5x magnification and has both green and red illumination with 5 different intensity levels per colour. Sonofabitch was heavy! It held the intel for the next mission. Sniper had us pinned so we cluttered up behind a bush, did prove to be the most awesome photo ever! Attempt at a charge, we failed and I was third in line to get shot... And when I get shot, I call my f-ing hits. 'Cuz I'm not a scrub Your turn now! Show your gear! saint.nick
To keep it short I will keep it to my main equipment,This is my main rifle with the WE Katana system, I gave this one the name LocustMy first more common loadout, by now I no longer wear it and my younger brother has adopted it.My new kryptek loadout this one I almost only wear during milsim/tacsimMy most common loadout with signature pakol you will see me running around in this combo 9/10 times. As a secondary I have a m93r II, I don't have pictures from it but I love it, it's big but not to big and has 45 round mags shooting in a burst. John McClane
Well ill give it to you guys, you certainly go all out! haha. I havent done a whole lot of airsoft because it isnt very popular up where im about but it looks like a lot of fun. I do some paintball every once and a while but its an expensive sport so i only go to like 2/3 big games a year. It would feel like with airsoft you wouldnt get the adrenaline rush or fear of getting hit as much as you would with paintball. Haha.

Even sponsorship would just bring the costs down for a quite bit. Then you have to pay for fuels, foods and hotel fees. Can't disagree to the getting hit part, in tourny we're allowed to shoot people point blank with fast firing rate as long it's not too excessive. (5 quick consecutive shots to the head at point blank range is somewhat not considered excessive in the pro level.)

chicken_bananas
I'm looking to start with airsoft, any recommendations? Since my compulsory army service is over i need something for my freetime and airsoft looks alot like the blankfire training thingy. ( no idea what it is in english, this is what i mean www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YyBp9i1hEM the part i mean starts at like 5:20 ). Would also like to know the difference between airsoft and blankfire stuff, since i dont really know much about airsoft. Reason why i didnt put the video as a link is because i didnt want it to spam the whole page, forgive me pls
Fabs
I used to airsoft but kind of stopped as most of my friends quit and the "airsoft community" died out in my town. My setup was something like this: Tokyo Marui Famas F1 ASG STI Tac Master Blowback CO2 1911 pistol Taurus PT 24/7 CO2 pistol I actually modified the Famas to fit a LiPo battery, I was able to run one whole day without changing batteries. That was good times running around in the forest for 8-12 hours a day, damn I still miss it. -Fabs Fabs

Karate Pyjamas
Just FML, my AK was shooting hot so I decided to swap the spring for an M90 spring. It still shoots hot, but only barely... I also shimmed my gearbox and together with the lighter spring it increased the ROF. I have 2 skirms within 1 week I'll be attending and I probably won't be able to use my AK
Pastry
Why not clip the spring ever so slightly?
Karate Pyjamas
Why not clip the spring ever so slightly? I don't own the proper tools to do that without ruining my piston, spring guide and my spring itself.
Karate Pyjamas
Combat load-out minus camelback and battlebelt (which houses my secondary, smoke grenades and dump pouch, no smokes allowed this day and my secondary didn't work that day so I took it off.) Left arm- Team Patch TTFT (Tactical Task Force Twente) (Twente is a region in the Netherlands where I currently live)Right arm - NLD patch and 'I call My Hit' patch provided by the Dutch Airsoft Association.Chest - More Dutch Flags, Karate and underneath a PJ patch (Paramedic Jumper, but fuck it, it's Pyjamas's now! )On the helmet I rock another I call my hit Patch and on the back another Karate patch.I currently run a main combination of Woodland Camo and MTP. Coyote and Dark Earth for some smaller accessories. When I run as a contracter/rebel/civilian I will run black clothing with a minimalistic black chest rig. And I bloody well deserve those "I Call My Hit" Patches, cuz for some reason, the photographers always snap me when calling a hit: GhostDragon
Karate Pyjamas
Gameplay vid of last weekend's skirm. It's a long vid with not too much action, but definitely some fun stuff. Too bad I didn't film the part after the lunchbreak because we fucking owned them at that point. Much more action... PiranhA

Cebi
Here are my toys. I started with airsoft in 2002. My fist gun was manual Beretta M92F by TokioMarui. I attended my last airsoft operation in 2011 (the year I got married). All guns made by Classic Army and tuned up (M120, precise barrel Inokatsu, piston, gears...etc.). I used low cap magazines (60 rounds). I have 9x STANAG and 6x M14 magazines. SCAR-L (gen.II.) with EoTech 552.A65/1 and Surefire M910A with KT4-HA. This was my favourite. With slightly over 950 RPM. Spoiler M14 + Aimpoint COMP/M Spoiler M4+M203 with Aimpoint COMP/M and silencer OPS Model 3rd MBS. 40MM grenades were bitch to maintain. Cebi
@Kyle Clements: Airsoft for me was as much fun when all i got was old tracksuit and plastic beretta. It is not about money. It is about people you surround yourself with when playing. Spoiler SkullCollector
