Patrol Ops New Missions

We are wanting to increase the diversity of missions for our Patrol Ops mission and would like to hear from the people that play on the server what kind of missions they would like to see. Please post any suggestions for missions you want, would like us to try to redo, or missions in Pat Ops that you like and don't want changed.

Here are at least few suggestions :

 

A. Rapid HVT retrieval

 

Capture lightly guarded HVT, but if detected heavy reinforcements are triggered and arrive within X minutes, so recon, speed and traveling light becomes core of the mission for CQC and sniper action. CAS takes role of support incase things go sideways and reinforcements arrive before HVT is secured and same goes for armor, so even thou it's mission for light equipment, still has place for all roles.

 

B. Spetsnaz (pvp)

 

Hear people occasionally tire of the capabilities of the AI enemies, so suggest adding about 5 man player opfor teamslot. Doing their own methods to slowdown NATO operations (however no baserape) with restricted types of vehicles and weapons (no heavy artillery for example), they can fit at their western & eastern bases in altis. Hopefully radio freq. remain within the radio items, so they can spy on NATO if they are careless in security should the find a dead soldier. If not, then thing like copy map on incapacitated soldier would do the same trick.

We are trying to work our way to PvP, Just need to get enough people coming on EU#3 to be able to do PvP

C. Conquest

 

Capture and hold 3 designated zones (control none is failure). Mission initiated on first capture, sending periodical waves of hostiles.

 

D. Fugitive (zeus mission?)

 

Hunt down enemy spy (preferably player) before reaches outside of AO.

Remove: Clear minefield mission :P

 

Suggestions: Based on small number of players and influenced by Arma campaign missions

 

- Destroy AA battery (placed on hills, castles like oreokastro, kavala...make airborne insertion impossible so entry exfil by land, boats)

 

- Hijack prototype weapon shipment (That earthquake machine tempest truck from campaign)

 

- Rescuing downed blackfoot crew in a forest

 

- Scuba assaut on Pyrgos or Kavala to infiltrate and do any one of the following

 

A. Kill HVT and obtain intel papers

 

B. Destroy enemy fuel depot , ammo cache, artillery pieces, armored vehicles car pool etc.

 

C. Rescue captured CIA operative and exfil by boat or commandeered offroads.

 

- Paratrooper assault on small towns - This may require the use of a mod/script to carry 2 backpacks one on the front and para on back

For some of the missions we can ramp up the realism a bit by using this script to kill the power to certain towns:

hi im part of a mil sim unit and i host a variety of servers and one of them is a patrol ops nato server but after we complete 3 missions the server ends the game and restarts is there a way to fix this?

Hi Jake.

 

We have moved on from Patrol Ops and written our own perpetual mission running on Eu#3 called Gauntlet.

 

But my guess is that theres a setting in the mission parameters that you can change to select how many mission before it restarts or put it into perpetual mode.
