If you wanna know about a really good german, then check in to Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler incident. Where Franz Stigler ace pilot was one victory away from knight cross, but instead of shooting Charlie's completely crippled bomber, he escorted them out of german territory safely. Way later after the war Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler became friends.

I've heard of Jack Churchill before but I'm a bit skeptical, it all sounds too good to be true.  I agree with Mike Loades in that article, killing a guy with a longbow was just for his own purposes - still its pretty badass.
