New (side/Main) Mission

Dunno if there already is a side/ or main mission for Thronos fort, but that would be a really interesting place to take over.
I even think it would make a great main mission but  it would  also do as a side mission.

But shortly my idea is to make a mission out of the Thronos Fort.
What do u guys think?



Also got an idea of kamaradskis Transport and Ambus mode for a side mission.

Basically it's the same but we would have a timeline to get prepared and get to position before 
enemy convoy reaches the targeted area.

This would bring a whole new meaning to demolition expert and repair specialist.
Because we could use mines/C4 for the ambush, specially coz mines are useless 
on the side/main missions we currently have and it would be a nice to use mines for a change.

Love the ambush concept. It would also be great if the reward was based on capturing an enemy vehicle or supplies that were being transported.

re Thronos castle ... 

 

It would have to be a custom side mission. 

 

There used to be an AO up there, however the AI get stuck inside the walls of the castle and in the rocks north of it.

 

I attempted it again recently with a new findSafePos function, however AI still spawn ATL (at terrain level) underneath the rocks, making them impossible to kill and stalling the mission cycle, requiring close admin support or a restart. 

 

 

 

Transport and Ambush side missions will soon not require oodles of coding, as the Zeus module will allow on-the-fly missions like this to be created without burdening the server with more mission code executions and loops.
