Hi All,

 

I'm sure we are all aware of the low numbers on the Arma servers in recent months. In line with this donations have also dropped.

 

As a result we cannot afford to sustain the server infrastructure as it is.

In order to continue in a way that is viable we have taken the decision to give up our second server box.

This is the server which hosts our Modded Arma servers as well as other game servers such as DCS and Arma Reforger.

I don't have an exact date of when the server will go offline but it will be before the end of the year.

 

The good news, without this server our donations will be in line with expenses meaning AW can continue into the future.

When you say "modded Arma servers" would that be EU2 or EU3 or both? 

 

But I'm happy we can still keep servers running and I assume TS is safe as well?

Sorry, to be clearer, eu1 and eu2 will remain, along with the ts server which are all hosted on our main box.

 

Eu3 is hosted on the box to be shut down.

Thanks for the clarification and it's not like EU3 has seen any action for awhile.

 

Does AW own that server, or were we just renting it? Just curious if it can be converted into cash to support AW.
