LH5
Georgian Intervention pt.2 Situation Following the attack on Nalchik in preparation for possible retaliatory strikes from Russian air assets we have been pulled back to Kobuleti. A US carrier group intends to enter the black sea to support air operations. A series of strikes will take place across the Russian and Republic of Abkhazia's coast to clear the area of land based anti ship missiles. Having seen US resolve to support Georgia in combat the pro Georgian people of Abkhazia have begun to revolt against the Abkhazia government. Sukhumi has been taken by the pro Georgian forces, we have gained permission to use Sukhumi airfield to rearm & refuel our jets. Mission Destroy the anti shipping missile command post & radars in the Gudauta area.
