Georgian Intervention pt.2

image.thumb.jpeg.003e740fb9d546e15d0c5dd74e4b20e9.jpeg

Situation

Following the attack on Nalchik in preparation for possible retaliatory strikes from Russian air assets we have been pulled back to Kobuleti.

A US carrier group intends to enter the black sea to support air operations. A series of strikes will take place across the Russian and Republic of Abkhazia's coast to clear the area of land based anti ship missiles.

Having seen US resolve to support Georgia in combat the pro Georgian people of Abkhazia have begun to revolt against the Abkhazia government. Sukhumi has been taken by the pro Georgian forces, we have gained permission to use Sukhumi airfield to rearm & refuel our jets.

Mission

Destroy the anti shipping missile command post & radars in the Gudauta area.

Flight plan

We will be keeping to a flight area on a pre planned route. You may leave this area when in combat with air or ground forces, with a swift return to the area once combat is complete.

(The plan may be changed by command on the day)

  • Helicopter flights carrying infantry will take off and head to waypoint 2 area and get eyes on the command centre (engage before SEAD arrives at your own discretion)
  • Jets will take off and orbit Kobuleti until all jets are up.
  • Once jets are up they will move to waypoint 2 then waypoint 3.
  • From waypoint 3 SEAD & Strike flights will engage SAM, anti ship radars & QRF forces in the Gudauta (WP4) area allowing helicopters to move in and engage the command centre (helicopter WP3) safe from radar guided SAM's
  • Helicopters can call in GBU strikes from Strike flights on targets of choice. (expect bunkers to need bombs from jets.)
