Act 3 - Weather the storm

Even though Altians broke the encirclement of Pyrgos, things are far from calm in the vicinity of the city. Not three hours after the city was deemed secure, the Russians sent in elements of VMF infantry and the fighting continued throughout the rest of the day and night. Now both sides seem to have reached a point where they need to make a gamble to attempt to secure their hold on the Pyrgos area.

             The Altian command hopes that not only can they secure the area, but also strike at the exposed Russian positions before they establish proper defenses. However, it is unknown how much the Russians are willing to gamble on the assault on the city, and o whose terms the two forces would clash. The Altians made their choice. Now all the depends on the Russian option: will they choose to regroup and reconsolidate a new frontline to account for losses suffered in the bombardment or will they choose to push towards Pyrgos with all their might, refusing to give up on the city, but potentially exposing their positions elsewhere?

            Not one full day has passed since the encirclement of Pyrgos was broken, and now the brave Altian soldiers that accomplished it are once more preparing to sally out and strike at Russian positions.

@JANXOL as we discussed before, I would like to suggest moving the Sunday mission start to 17:30 UCT, unless that is sheduling problem for you.

 

On Fridays, we are consistently getting more people for the PMC mission than on Sunday for War or Altis, despite that due to scope we would benefit from more people in this larger ops. People tend to be home Sun evenings, but 16:30 UCT might be too soon for some, also the USA/Canadian people are more likely to be done with lunch at the later hour if they are free.

Hey all,

Unfortunately I am afraid that due to certain health problems that I am having today I will be unable to conduct this mission for you. I know this sucks and I am sorry, but my body failed me.
The mission will be postponed to a later time, which may or may not be next week depending on how soon the problem goes away.
