Let's just archive this thread, at this point there is nothing to gain by making more drama or digging up dirt. I get that there may be a different discussion to be had about Core Staff. But tbh I find the whole ordeal that happened on AW last summer a sad and disheartening part of my Arma career. AW will always be the place I started in Arma, and I think it's the same for many. So lets reminisce on the good points, not a low point. Use a different thread to discuss a different situation. Happy new year!

It's not just you @Gambitbut I think that is the main issue here. We have people we trust and when they tell us something we can take it as fact. There is alot of misinfo on both 'sides'. Which is why this thread is good and also bad. It's good to have transparency after discussions have been made but I completely agree with CS here that only the parties involved should have been informed.

I hate to get involved here but, unfortunately due to the way that said community works. DC rich presence is a vital part of the framework. It isn't an optional mod like on AW. Yes discussions have been made about it and whether it can be turned off or hidden but my conclusion was that if it becomes taboo then it feels wrong. As @MidnightRunner put DC rich presence isn't a form of recruiting the same way that having DC display that I am playing Minecraft or another game isn't recruiting. I among most on ahoyworld have other enjoyments and dislikes outside AW or even arma. It is sad to see this spiral and people take their sides but I will still be friends with as many as possible!

1. Enhanced Map Ace Version 2. This mod creates a more contrasted map allowing for easier identification of paths and roads, whilst also adding a true satellite imagery texture. It is client-side and so could be optional. It is a simple plug and play mod that claims to work on all modded maps (i have tried most of the Frontlines maps and it works perfectly). At 0.7MB it is extremely small. Whilst Frontlines doesn't use Cam Lao Nam I have found myself struggling to see the trail through such dense foliage, and the bolder lines help with locating positions. 3. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2467590475 4. Frontlines is about planning and any tool to aid in that would be great. Because it is client-side if it isn't someone's cup of tea then they don't need to load it in.

will there be a signup for this? -
I would love to see that on eu1 however it would make a server that anyone can join even on their first 5 mins in arma into a still accessible however less so experience. I believe that eu1 thrives on new players joining and learning the ropes and base arma makes all roles very easy to get the hang of. I hope to maybe see you on the modded server and TS as it makes the game tenfold as indepth

A few of you may know who I am ;). I go by PMCRUGBY in-game but you can call me 'PMC' or 'RUGBY' or 'That Guy' I don't really mind what I'm called. I'm 16 almost 17, live in the south of the UK. I tend to play EU3 and the game nights. Discord is the best place to reach me (as you can see, despite playing on Ahoyworld since January I am only saying Hi now.) I'm down as PMCRUGBY on Ahoyworld's discord or my unique ID is Pat Riss#6969. Hope to see anyone I haven't already met ingame!!
