  1. I made the mistake of buying a new PC just before the GTX900 series were released But I feel like sharing it though, so here we go: Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero CPU: Intel i7-4790k GPU: EVGA GTX 780 ACX superclocked PSU: Corsair Pro Series AX860 RAM: 16GB DDR3-1866 Corsair Vengeance Pro SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 250GB HDD: 2x Western Digital Blue 1TB Cooling:Corsair H100i Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper (window edition) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24F1ST Monitors: 3x AOC G2460FQ Mouse: Razer Mamba 4G Keyboard: Razer Anansi (don't buy it's awful) Headset: Razer Tiamat 2.2 Pictures are a bit outdated though :S
  2. Hi Gareth I've done some PC building myself and regarding the list of purposes for the rig I would consider the following: Swap out that PSU if you plan on going SLI in the near future Although an i5 is fine for gaming, you'll want the i7's hyper-threading when it comes to streaming/recording and gaming on the same machine. 8GB memory is a good start but you might want to increase this for intensive video editing. The motherboard supports both Nvidia SLI and AMD Crossfire For the GPU I'd say stick with the 980. Unless you plan on going triple monitor or 4K resolution you won't need it. This is just my humble advise, there are probably people here who know a lot more about this Have fun building!
  3. Hi Kamaradski The problems still returns now and then but not as frequent anymore. I'm using my modem/router issued by my ISP in bridged mode and use a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 as actual router. Both router and router/modem are on the latest firmware and reboot every morning. I personally suspect the problem lies with my ISP, since my brother mentioned the same issues. Not much you nor me can do about it but I really appreciate the info and effort! Thanks and see ya on the servers
  4. Thanks for the reply. I'll have a look at my firewall and router then, we use static IP's on our LAN network which are portforwarded so we should be fine.
  5. Hey all I started playing on the AW servers with my brother not that long ago and I was wondering if there are any rules regarding multiple connections from the same public IP. Because sometimes I can't seem to connect or get disconnected whilst my bro is doing just fine. Thanks in advance and see you on the battlefield! X3ntr
